In the recent episode of 'Indian Idol 13', Govinda was seen dancing with his wife for the first time, leaving the audience mesmerised.
The OG of Bollywood, who mesmerised his fans with his perfect comic timing and amazing dance moves, Govinda has always been a mass entertainer. The Hero No. 1 actor made his acting debut in 1986 with the film, Ilzaam. With some fantastic films like Dulhe Raja, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Partner, Bhagam Bhag and many more, Govinda is still ruling the hearts of millions.
On the personal front, the handsome actor got married to Sunita Munjal on March 11, 1987, in an intimate temple wedding ceremony and had kept it a secret from the media for four years. Even though the two were completely opposite to each other, their love for dancing brought them closer. Married for 36 years with two adorable kids, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja, Govinda and Sunita have been each other’s pillar of strength through thick and thin.

Recently, the king of comedy, Govinda graced the singing reality show, Indian Idol 13, along with his wife, Sunita Ahuja and daughter, Tina Ahuja. In the clip shared by the channel, Sunita pointed at Govinda and said, “Inhone aajtak mere saath dance nahi kiya.” The adorable couple then performed on stage and mesmerised everyone present there. After the performance, Govinda hugged Sunita and planted a kiss on her cheek. Seeing her parents' camaraderie, Tina hid her face with her hand. Govinda can also be heard saying:
“Main bohut saal intezaar kiya hun is moment ka.”
In an interview with ETimes, Govinda’s best half, Sunita Ahuja opened up about falling in love with him when she was just 15. Revealing her love story, Sunita had said:
“I used to stay at my sister’s house and my jijaji was Govinda’s mama. So Govinda stayed with my sister for three years and it was there that I met him for the first time. When we were young, we used to dance together, and my jijaji would also encourage us. We started dating and I was married at the age of 18, Tina was born when I was 19. If you ask Govinda, he will say Sunita got me in this child marriage.”

Sunita also talked about the challenges she faced when Govinda kept himself busy while shooting for his films. Talking about the same, Sunita had retorted:
“My days were all about taking care of the kids; I don’t even remember going out for dinner with him during those days. I also gave a lot of time to other kids in the family as well. Now since the kids have grown up, I travel a lot, and am rarely in Mumbai.”
On the work front, Govinda will be next seen in the film, Shootout at Byculla!
