Vicky Kaushal has been paid a whopping Rs 5 crores, while Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani also demanded in crores.
The recently released film, Govinda Naam Mera is a murder mystery with doses of serious comedy. It is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by none other than Karan Johar. However, fans have been loving Vicky Kaushal's as 'Govinda' in the film. The movie is about a simple man named Govinda, who is a junior background dancer, and how his wife has an extramarital affair. While the film is all things interesting, the star cast has demanded their salaries in crores.
According to a report in Times Now, the makers had sold the rights to Disney+ Hotstar for a whopping Rs. 62 crores. However, the movie has been made with a budget of Rs. 55 crores. The report further states that Vicky Kaushal got paid Rs/ 5 crores for his role as Govinda in the movie.

However, the heroines in the film are not far behind. Kiara Advani, who played the love interest of Govinda Waghmara, got a feed of Rs. 4 crores. On the other hand, Bhumi Pednekar, who played the role of 'Gauri Waghmare', Govinda's wife, signed the deal for Rs. 4 crores as per a report in Telly Chakkar.
According to reports, not only the main lead, but the supporting artists also got satisfactory fees. Veteran actor, Sayaji Shinde, who portrayed the role of a politician in the film took home Rs. 85 lakhs. On the other hand, Dayanand Shetty received a cheque of Rs. 45 lakhs for playing the role of a cop in the film.
The famous content creator, Viraj Ghelani made his acting debut with the film, Govinda Naam Mera. He played the character of Gauri WAghmare's love interest. He took home a paycheque of Rs. 25 lakhs. As per a Telly Chakkar report, Amey Wagh also got a paycheque of Rs. 25 Lakhs.
