That is the reason why most of the stars prefer Kapil Sharma's comedy show for promoting their movies and upcoming projects. However, sometimes, we see rare controversies and feuds on the show too. For instance, in the recent episode of the show, it was the legendary actor, Govinda, who made an appearance on the show and took a dig at his bhanja, Krushna Abhishek. In the recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Govinda made an appearance on the show and his bhanja and comedian, Krushna Abhishek didn't perform in that episode. During the course of the episode, Govinda took a dig at Krushna's decision of not performing in front of him. During the course of the skit, it was Chandan Prabhakar a.k.a., Chandu, who took a dig at Kapil Sharma and said, "Push kar kar ke main ese Amritsar se Bombay leaaya, Aaj ladke ka zordaar show chalra hai." After which, Govinda took a hilarious dig at Krushna and said, "Aur tujhe kaam de ya na de, tere bhanje ko zarur dega." Take a look:
In a conversation with the Bombay Times, Krushna Abhishek had clarified his take on the same and had said, "I learnt about Chi Chi mama coming on the show around 10 days ago. Since Sunita mami wasn't accompanying him, the team thought that I would have no qualms performing. However, the incident has left a bad taste in my mouth. Last year, she didn't want me to perform in front of them, but this time, I had reservations." Krushna had further expressed how the enmity between him and his mama, Govinda has affected him and had added, "I had a strong relationship with mama, and the enmity has affected me badly. When the relationship between two people is strained, it's difficult to perform comedy. Besides, mama might take offence to my jokes. Achhi comedy ke liye set ka mahaul achha hona chahiye (good comedy needs conducive environment). I could vouch that it would have been like a house on fire even if I had performed as Krushna and not Sapna (the character he portrays on the show) with mama.
