The groom's skin is every bit as important as the bride's. A hectic lifestyle often does not allow men to have time to take care of their skin. A man need to assess his skin type as much as women does. Washing the face with water two three times a day is not enough. In order to understand skin care better, follow the simple tips and add glow to your charming skin.

Cleansing

Clean your face every day with a face wash preferably a foaming cleanser. Cleansing product should be natural and chemical free. Repeat face wash at least three times through the course of the day to get rid of the grime and dust that settles on you. To get that extra freshness refresh your skin with cold water in which tealeaves have been boiled.

Exfoliating

Give yourself a good scrub to remove the dead cells from your skin, leaving it fresh, smooth and glowing. Try using use scrub that gives moisturizing effect. This will make sure your skin does not tear. It is important to use face scrub every alternate week for at least three months before you can see the result.

Toning

If you are spending most of your time outdoors then toning becomes important to maintain texture of the skin. There are many tomes available in the market. Astringents and toners with glycolic or alpha hydroxyl acids work best for men skin.

Moisturising

Use water based moisturizer every night. Do not forget to apply moisturizer every time you wash your face with soap. There are many men’s moisturizer available in the market but try to stick to herbal products.

Good Diet

A good diet is also very important to make your skin healthy. Make sure that your daily diet provides you all the essential vitamins and minerals. Drink a lot of water as it helps in cleaning your blood and adds glow to your skin. At the same time, increase the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Facial

A few months before the wedding, start going for facials to a good salon nearby. Once in a month should be the ideal frequency for you. It is very important to get facial done 2-3 days before the wedding so that you don’t look as if you just stepped out to salon on your wedding day.
