Television couple, Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee have tested positive for COVID-19 today, on September 30, 2020. And just a few moments ago, they have informed about the same on their respective social media handles. Scroll down to know more!
Taking to his Twitter handle, Gurmeet wrote, "My wife Debina & I have tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are touch wood, doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care. Gurmeet Choudhary's wife, Debina Bonnerje also issued a statement about the same. Informing her fans about their diagnosis, Debina wrote, "My husband, Gurmeet and I have tested positive fr COVID 19 today. We are touch wood, doing fine and are taking all the necessary precautions, in isolation at home. We request all those who have been in contact with us to take care. It was only a few months ago, on April 18, 2020, that Gurmeet Choudhary had celebrated his wife, Debina Bonnerjee's birthday in the lockdown. Gurmeet had posted a video from the same on his IG handle. In the video, their whole family was present around the birthday girl, while her siblings, cousins, friends, and others were on video calls. The beautiful couple Gurmeet and Debina were twinning in black. Gurmeet had held their little puppy in his arms while Debina had cut her birthday cake with a huge smile and a loud cheer from her family and friends. Along with the beautiful video, Gurmeet had written a heartfelt note for his wife, which could be read as "Happy birthday my love @debinabon a unique birthday celebration with the technology bringing us together all of us (my family) from out of the station as well as friends who are staying in Mumbai in different houses were present in Debina’s cake cutting session at our house."
Another video from the birthday celebrations was shared by the birthday girl, Debina herself on her Instagram handle. Along with the video, Debina had penned a note and had thanked her friends and family for taking out the time and making efforts to make her birthday a special one. Her caption could be read as “This is a time we thanked the technology for bringing all of us together at a time. The house felt complete with lots of friends and family (in-laws).
