Recently, Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir opened up about a harrowing ordeal, wherein she, her manager, and her co-star, Fahad Mustafa were verbally assaulted by an event organiser.
Pakistani actress, Hania Aamir made her way to Dallas, USA, for a special fan meet along with her manager and Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum co-star, Fahad Mustafa. The event, which they had hoped would be fun and memorable, turned into a deeply disturbing ordeal when an event organiser verbally abused them. Not only that, the matter escalated so much that event, taking place on December 26, 2024, had to be abruptly called off. Recently, Hania took to her social media account to shed more light on what happened.
Pakistani star, Hania Aamir took to her Instagram story with lengthy notes breaking down what happened in Dallas on December 26, 2024, after an event she was supposed to attend ended abruptly. Given that the event was a fan meet, several fans took to social media to vent their frustrations about Hania and her co-star, Fahad Mustafa, leaving so suddenly. In response to the same, Hania expressed her love for them but explained that the situation had been unavoidable.
According to Hania, everything was fine when she first entered the venue and started interacting with fans. However, she suddenly heard her manager being verbally abused by an event organiser. Hania quickly went up to them to find out what was happening and firmly told the man that he could not speak to her like that. However, things escalated even further.
Hania Aamir's manager, upset by the ordeal, went backstage. The actress followed behind her to ensure she was okay, but the situation worsened further. Narrating what happened next, Hania penned in her story:
"I followed her to make sure she was okay and Fahad being a gentleman also came to check up on her. Then we decided to start with the photos with the fans backstage, at this point he came running after us, calling us names, telling us to get out, called off the security protocols, and verbally assaulted us even more (people had to hold him back)."
Hania Aamir further went on to slam the event organiser for his behaviour. The actress stated that just because they were women in 'male-dominated fields' didn't give others the right to be disrespectful. In Hania's words:
"Whatever your position may be, big or small, it gives you no right to disrespect anyone. Just because us women are in male dominated fields, gives you no right to assume that you can get away with almost anything and that we will not take a stand for ourselves. We as a fraternity put in a lot of effort to make our fans happy and such people with their theatrics are mostly trying to paint us black. I don't know maybe it does something for their ego. But promoters/organisers need to step up and make sure such clowns don't ruin the events and the experience for the fans and the artists."
Finally, Hania Aamir concluded her note with a sincere apology to fans and also urged media houses to exercise restraint while talking about the debacle. Reassuring fans of her love, the actress penned:
"I understand it's a juicy story that a female artist left a show or misbehaved, but it would be really nice if media houses show some responsibility with their journalism and stop putting allegations on us as artists without getting their facts straight. Last but not the least, I would like to apologise to every single one of you who came. And i dearly love every single one of you. I am sorry things had to end this way."
