Hansika Motwani gave us so many lessons on how to be a 'chilled-out' bride, and she set a new trend by donning peacock-motif 'kaleeras'.
Indian actress, Hansika Motwani found the man of her dreams, Sohail Kathuriya. The couple tied the knot in an intimate celebration at Mundota Fort, which is a 450-year-old palace in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Just like her grand wedding, her wedding look also radiated royal vibes. However, it was her kaleera which had a unique element that accentuated her bridal glow.
Recently, Hansika shared the first pictures from her wedding festivities. She was dressed to the nines on the most special day of her life. She opted for a red lehenga with heavy embroidery. However, it was her kaleera that accentuated her look. Hansika donned customised kaleeras, which had peacock trinkets. Another interesting part of Hansika's wedding look was her lehenga skirt which featured peacock motifs at the hem.

For those who don't know, Kaleera is one of the most important pieces of jewellery for a Punjabi bride. It is an umbrella-shaped ornament which is made either in gold or silver metal. It is tied on the wedding day by sisters or sister-in-law of the bride after chooda ceremony. Kaleera holds deep meaning, which symbolises prosperity and good luck, which the new bride carries with her as she begins her journey in a new family.
On December 5, 2022, Hansika posted the first picture after her wedding. In the photo, Hansika was Showing off her mehendi-clad hands. She also flaunted her huge diamond ring and chooda. Her nude-toned nails accentuated the beauty of her hands. Atop it, she tagged her husband, Sohail with a heart emoji.
On the work front, Hansika will be resuming her work soon as she has seven films lined up!
