Hansika Motwani has been facing a severe backlash from the netizens for marrying her best friend, Rinky Bajaj’s ex-husband, Sohael Khaturiya. The South Indian sensation, Hansika tied the knot with Sohael on December 4, 2022, at Mundota Fort and Palace in Rajasthan, and it was indeed a royal wedding. However, Hansika had also attended Rinky and Sohael’s wedding in the past.
It was on December 5, 2022, when the newlywed, Hansika took to her IG handle and shared three pictures from her exotic fort wedding. While she exuded desi dulhan vibes in an embellished red lehenga, Sohael donned an ivory sherwani. Both their stunning wedding couture was from the designer duo, Rimple and Harpreet. But Hansika’s gorgeous wedding pictures couldn’t stop the netizens from slamming her.

As soon as Hansika’s wedding pictures went viral, internet users took to the post's comment section and schooled the actress for marrying her best friend’s hubby. While some reminded her about how she had attended Rinky and Sohael’s wedding, others started to curse Hansika for her karma.
Amid the controversy, netizens were quick to dig out Rinky and Sohael’s old cinematic wedding video, which was posted six years ago on the YouTube channel, The Wedding Story. In the clip, we can spot Hansika enjoying their marriage festivities to the fullest in a baby-pink churidaar set. Further, we can hear Rinky narrating her love story with Sohael about how he was earlier trying to fix her marriage with someone else, but fell in love with her in the meantime.

Upon checking the YouTube video’s comment section, we found many people sympathising with Rinky’s unlucky fate.
