Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor once made a sarcastic remark about not being able to give his sister, Sonam Kapoor gifts at her wedding.
Anil Kapoor and his wife, Sunita Kapoor's son, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is one of the much-loved star kids. The actor began his career as an assistant director back in 2015 with the movie, Bombay Velvet. His debut film was Mirzya. Apart from that, he was also seen in movies like AK VS AK, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, and Thar.
Well, on November 9, 2024, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor turned another year older, and on this special day, let us look back at a time when the actor had a sassy reply when asked about giving his sister, Sonam Kapoor a wedding gift. For the unversed, Harsh often slams those who try to take a jibe at him, and the same happened when he was asked about giving a wedding gift to his then-to-be-married sister, Sonam. At the trailer launch event of Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, which was held a few days before Sonam Kapoor's wedding, Harsh said that his jiju, Anand Ahuja is a great guy. Talking about the then-upcoming wedding in his family, Harsh mentioned that he's not fully involved in the preparations, as he's a bit busy with his movie promotions.
As quoted by the IANS, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor was questioned about what gift he had given to Sonam Kapoor. He replied that he just gifted a hug and love to his sister. He further added that he's broke. Harsh stated that everyone knows what kind of movies he's doing, and he doesn't get paid well for the same, thus he doesn't have anything other than love to shower his sister with. In Harsh's words:
"A hug… That’s a joke. A lot of love. I am broke. Have you seen the kind of movies I am doing? They don’t pay very well (laughs). So, I don’t have anything to give her, but a lot of love."
While talking to Invite Only Season 2, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor spilt the tea on his dating life. He revealed what his sisters, Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor have to say about the same. The actor said that his sisters are really picky about the woman who would come into his life, and nobody is good enough for them, and they often cut her off even before it ignites. He claimed to be single and added that he wanted to know some fantastic women from other professions, like a lawyer or someone in medicine or investment banking. In Harsh's words:
"Sonam and Rhea are very picky about the women that come into my life. Nobody is good enough. They sometimes cut it off even before it ignites."
It was in August 2022 when Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja welcomed their little munchkin, Vayu, into their world. Well, after a few months, in December 2022, the actress delighted her fans with the first glimpse of her son with his mamu, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. In the photo, Harsh was looking handsome in a lilac-hued t-shirt and pink shorts. Well, it was Vayu who was seen playing with his mamu and stole the limelight with his cuteness. Sharing the photo, Sonam revealed that Vayu loves his mamu.
