Veteran actor, Hema Malini celebrated Holi beautifully in her constituency of Vrindavan and sang one of her iconic songs from her films for the occasion.
Hema Malini is one of the most beautiful actresses of her generation in Hindi cinema. The OG ‘Dream Girl’, the veteran actress has mesmerised countless of her audience with her charismatic personality, versatile acting chops, phenomenal looks and whatnot. Married to the evergreen actor, Dharmendra, Hema Malini is blessed with two daughters, Esha and Ahana. After stepping down from mainstream acting, the actress is a hands-on parliamentarian and is the serving MLA for BJP in the constituency of Mathura.
Hema Malini is an active parliamentarian as she often gets spotted travelling to her constituency of Mathura, not only to be a part of the religious events held there, but also for her own office work. Moreover, Hema is also a dire Krishna bhakt, and she often takes part in performing raag seva to her deity in various holy places. Something similar happened on March 25, 2024, when she travelled all the way to Vrindavan and took part in the beautiful phoolon ki Holi customarily held in the city. For the special day, she slipped into a hand-painted cream-hued saree, paired with a pink blouse. She completed her look with open tresses, floral jewellery and subtle makeup.

Apart from dipping in gulaal and flower showers, Hema Malini also mesmerised many with her soulful singing. In a video of her visit that has gone massively viral on social media, she could be seen singing the iconic song, Holi Ke Din from her film, Sholay, as well as crooning soulfully to a Krishna bhajan, Shyam Rang Mein Main Toh Rang Gayi.

Back on February 18, 2024, Hema Malini took to her social media handle and dropped an array of glimpses from her raag seva at the Ram Janmbhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. The diva, who is an ardent Krishna bhakt had previously performed in this temple during its consecration ceremony as well. Being a trained Indian classical dancer, Hema looked resplendent in a royal blue-hued attire, and even at the age of 75, displayed grace and charm like no other. Along with the snapshots, the actress penned a beautiful note, that can be read as:
“This afternoon I gave a Bharat Natyam performance for Ram Lalla inside his temple. It was such a euphoric experience and I danced with passion which was appreciated by the public. A few photos of some moments from my dance captured for you.”

Previously, in an interaction with The Times Of India, Hema Malini expressed her reflections on surviving so many years in the film industry. She shared her gratitude for being able to live up to the image of a dream girl even today. In her words:
“I am happy that I have been able to live up to my image of being a Dream Girl. I have had a wonderful innings in the film industry, working with great directors. I keep myself active with travel and dance, I want to look good and fit. Even today, if a good role comes my way, I will take it.”
