5 days before the Ram Mandir inauguration, the veteran actress and the tremendous dancer, Hema Malini is set to bless our eyes with a 'nritya-natya' based on 'Ramayana' in Ayodhya.
One of the greatest of events, the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony, will be held on January 22, 2024, in the holy birthplace of Lord Rama, Ayodhya. There's no denying the fact that the excitement for the same knows no bounds. Several Bollywood celebrities have already been invited for that special occasion. Amid the excitement going on, another report made rounds in the media, which surely doubled our joy.
Recently, the ever-so-gorgeous actress, Hema Malini announced that she will be performing a dance drama in Ayodhya on January 17, 2024. The actress, who is also a BJP MP, mentioned in the video that she, along with her team members, will perform a dance drama based on the Hindu epic, Ramayana. The video was posted by Hema Malini's office and was shared on the X account of the ANI.

The whole nation is waiting for the celebration of light, which will be celebrated by the inauguration of Ram Mandir. For the same, several Bollywood celebrities are invited on January 22, 2024, to be eyewitnesses to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. Among others, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, and Amitabh Bachchan are invited to attend the ceremony.
Hema Malini's love for dance and her tremendous skills in the same field is not unknown to anyone. The veteran actress can make anyone's jaw drop with her dancing skills, even at the age of 75. The diva even passed on the latent in both of her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, by making them trained Odissi dancers.
Even at the age of 75, Hema Malini never shies away from performing on stage. For example, on November 23, 2023, Hema Malini left everyone stunned as she performed a nritya-natya(dance drama) based on the biggest devotees of Lord Krishna, Mirabai's life. For her performance, the veteran actress was decked up like gopi. She looked the prettiest in green choli and yellow skirt and teamed it with a sheen dupatta. With heavy jewels and sheen makeup, the actress served some angelic vibes and took us to another world with her one-and-a-half-hour-long tremendous dance performance.

In her biography penned by the film journalist and critic, Bhawana Somaaya, Hema Malini talked in detail about her love for dance. The actress revealed that she started learning dance when she was only five years old. Talking more about the same, the actress recalled how her guru used to tie the bells around her ankles, and her tiny ankles used to hurt, but she was not allowed to take them off. The veteran actress also shared how her mom used to motivate her by saying that she would get used to it. Hema Malini said:
"I started learning dance when I was only five years old. When my guru first tied the bells around my tiny ankles and demonstrated the adavus and mudras, my feet hurt terribly but I wasn’t allowed to take them off. ‘You will get used to them,’ my mother said, and I did. Within a week, I was wearing the heavy anklets, bending, twirling, participating in public performances."
