Recently, Bollywood veteran actress, Hema Malini celebrated her 73rd birthday with her husband, Dharmendra and her daughter, Esha Deol's family. However, the highlight of her intimate birthday bash was the still-in-love couple, Hema and Dharmendra's outfits. In an interview, the actress-turned-politician, Hema Malini, talked about the same.
The epitome of beauty in the Hindi cinema, Hema Malini, had broken many hearts when she had tied the knot with the action hero, Dharmendra. However, she had gone through a lot, when she had decided to spend her life with already married Dharmendra.

In a media interaction with The Times of India, Hema Malini revealed the secret behind her matching outfit with her husband, Dharmendra. For the unversed, for her birthday, Hema Malini had donned kurta pyjama. On the other hand, Dharmendra was seen wearing a red shirt. Talking about the same, Hema said, "It was not planned. It just happened to match. Frankly, humara humesha match ho jata hai."

Hema Malini further opened up on her 73rd birthday celebrations. She said, "It was a very usual birthday. Dharam ji was at my place, so was Esha, her husband and her kids. We cut the cake and spent some time with each other...Everything is fine. We are all okay by the grace of God."
Earlier, in an interview with the National Herald, Hema Malini had opened her heart to some of the aspects of her life. When Hema was asked if she is happy, the actress had said, "I wouldn't say everything is perfect. One doesn't always get what one wants in life. When one is younger one dreams of a perfect life, which doesn't exist. I didn't get everything that I wanted. But I never gave myself the opportunity to miss all the things that I didn't have. I had my two daughters. The last 30 years of my life just sped by with them. Taking them to school, looking at their homework, doing their hair and managing their tantrums I relived my own childhood. Now when they're grown up I suddenly look back and I feel, arrey, I missed out on something!"
On the work front, Hema Malini is currently working as the MP from Mathura!
