Following Hema Sharma's eviction from 'Bigg Boss 18', her ex-husband, Gaurav Saxena came forward with several allegations against her. She is now hitting back at him with claims of her own.
Hema Sharma recently became the first contestant to be evicted from Bigg Boss 18. However, interestingly her exit from the show has been more controversial than her stint on it. Following her departure from the house, Hema opened up about her personal life and two failed marriages in an interview. And it seems like one of her ex-husbands didn’t like her comments. Hema’s estranged husband, Gaurav Saxena came forward with some serious allegations against the actress cum influencer. Well, now Hema is hitting back.
Hema Sharma’s ex-husband, Gaurav Saxena threw some serious allegations her way. However, the actress didn’t waste a single moment in hitting back at the NRI, who hails from Uganda. Hema alleged that Gaurav couldn’t deal with the fact that the woman he had ‘abandoned’ had reached a platform as huge as Bigg Boss.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Hema revealed that she would be taking the matter up with an advocate. Further stating that Gaurav was merely seeking his 15 minutes of fame as he had always wanted to be famous, she said:
"Woh Aadmi ko ye digest nahi horaha hai ke jis aurat ko Maine kangal karke chodh diya woh Bigg Boss mein pahuch gayi. He just wanted to be famous. Usko humesha se famous hona tha. He wanted me to work Woh chahta tha ke main kharche paani ke liye paise kamau. Usko celebrity husband bankar rehna tha. Par jab Mujhe laga ke agar Mujhe he Roz jaake paise kamana hai toh why did I get married to you."
According to Hema Sharma’s ex-husband, Gaurav Saxena, the actress had tried to pay her way into Bigg Boss. According to him, Hema had been trying to get a spot on the massively popular reality TV show for the past two years. Then in 2023, she approached him with the news that she had found a PR company that guaranteed her a place on Bigg Boss for Rs. 3.5 lakhs.
Gaurav further stated that he paid the amount instantly. However, his only concern was that she would get the show without fail if he did so. He revealed the details of how the payment went and said:
"It didn't even take me 3 minutes and I told her that I would give the money. I had paid the money to someone named Rahul Parihar. The only thing I asked her was if she was sure she would get the show with this, as per my understanding you need to do something worthy of the show to be a part of it. But she was confident so I paid the amount. She had tried for season 17, then Bigg Boss OTT 3 and then when it didn't happen she had slammed the contestants in her vlog."
Hema paying her way into Bigg Boss is far from the only accusation Gaurav Saxena has laid on 'Viral Bhabhi.' He alleged that he had not handed over their son to him when she entered the show despite him being the rightful guardian in her absence. Gaurav also claimed that Hema had lodged false cases against him and demanded a flat Rs. 2.5 crore from him.
