In the glam world, there are some celebs that are pretty comfortable with the constant media glare and there are others, who always make sure to keep their lives away from the shutterbugs. One such person who always wants to be away from the limelight is none other than versatile actress Rani Mukerji’s husband, Aditya Chopra. Not just himself, he always wants to keep his daughter away from the glare too. Since the time Rani embraced motherhood with darling daughter Adira, she has been on a break.
The B-town actress is going to make a comeback with her forthcoming film Hichki where she plays the role of a teacher. She suffers from Tourette syndrome in the film. Rani has been on the promotional spree for the film which is scheduled to release in March 2018. Recently, the multitalented actress also appeared on Neha Dhupia’s BFFs With Vogue show along with her close friend and famous designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. While talking about the media limelight on her daughter Adira, things that she revealed will make you feel she's such a doting mother. She was quoted as saying, “I want Adira to grow up normally. (Otherwise) you get unwanted and undeserved attention without having achieved anything in life. I want Adira to be treated like any other child in school. Aditya and I don’t want her to be photographed constantly.”
We all know for the fact that Aditya has been guarded about his daughter Adira. Talking about husband’s shy nature, Rani expressed her point on the show and remarked, “It’s not as if he is paranoid about the cameras. He just doesn’t want to be photographed.” She further added, “He had told me after our marriage, ‘God when I fell in love with you, I didn’t stop to think that I was in love with an actress. Now, because of you, people are attaching my pictures to yours as well.” Her statement truly reveals that her star status being an actress created a problem for husband Aditya Chopra. In an earlier interview too, she had mentioned about the secrecy stating, “It is single-handedly my husband’s decision. In this, he has no interest in taking my advice or my opinion.This department, he is like NO, I don’t want her pictures. And for me, it’s very important that when you are in a relationship, there are times when I would say that OK, this is IT and you have to listen and the same with him.”
Rani Mukerji has not only been a skilled actress but a doting wife too. She has always respected her husband’s privacy and his likes and dislikes. In an earlier interview with her, while talking about limelight on Adira, she expressed that she respects her husband’s privacy and she tells Aditya that he is protecting and guarding her child now but for how long will this continue? She is going to step out of the home, to go to school or a birthday party and she will be clicked. And at the end of the day, he married an actor. She also mentioned that he keeps saying, 'God has cursed me by getting me married to you because I wanted to be a recluse and stay away from media glare'.
