You wish to spend as much time with them, without actually showing that you want to be by their side. You wish to irritate them and still be close to them whenever they need something. TV actor-turned-Bollywood actor, Himansh Kohli's sister, Disha Kohli had tied the knot with Abhay Malhotra on February 28, 2021, in an extravagant manner. From a grand shaadi to an even more grand reception party, everything about his sister’s wedding was millennial. However, the most millennial part was Disha's wedding hashtag, which perfectly described her love story with Abhay, and it was '#AbhayGotHisDishaRight'.
Well, Disha’s wedding was not just a treat to everyone’s eyes, it looked like her brother, Himansh had put in his everything to make his sister feel special. From being by her side, escorting her to the mandap, tying kaleeras or singing for her, Himansh set the brother goals real high. Himansh has started sharing snippets from his sister’s wedding on his IG handle and a few hours ago, he shared a montage of Disha’s haldi rasam. In the video compilation, we can see the beautiful décor of genda phool and the entire family twinning in the shades of yellow and enjoying the festivity to the fullest. We also caught a glimpse of Himansh and his sister, Disha dancing together, setting the siblings’ goal high. Sharing the video, Himansh added the song Kabira to it and mentioned that every word from the song made him emotional at that moment. He wrote, “Disha Got Her Haldi Right! & #AbhayGotHisDishaRight This was one of the moments when every word from this song struck an emotional chord. @kohli_disha.”
As we said, Himansh performed his brotherly duties to the fullest. Not just he was seen dancing with Disha, there are several pictures and videos, proving him to be the best brother. Scrolling through our social media, we got our hands on a few brother-sister moments and they are adorable. In one picture, we can see Himansh hugging his sister on her haldi rasam, in the other one, we can see him tying kaleeras on his sister’s hand. For the wedding, Disha Kohli had donned a traditional red lehenga by Anita Dongre. The intricate, heavy golden work on the lehenga had made her look like a royal princess. She had paired it with a golden, Jodha-Akbar style choker, heavy golden jhumkas and a matching golden and red maang teeka. To top it all, she had kept her makeup simple with a touch of nude lipstick and a small red bindi. Disha's bridal ensemble was a mix of extravagance and sheer simplicity, and she had looked nothing less than a princess. Taking about Himansh Kohli's attire for his sister's wedding, the dashing actor had worn a light pink coloured bandhgala sherwani, with an intricate golden work over it. He had teamed it up with white pyjama, black shoes and a red turban.
