Himesh Reshammiya's father, Vipin Reshammiya, left for the heavenly abode on September 18, 2024. The 87-year-old music director took his last breath at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. His death was a huge loss to the music industry, and his family is in deep shock. Vipin's last rites took place on September 19, 2024, at a crematorium in Juhu, and his son, Himesh's glimpses simply broke our hearts.
Himesh Reshammiya looked extremely emotional as he performed the last rites of his beloved father. The playback singer was devastated by the huge loss and was seen holding a pious pot and walking ahead of his late father's corpse. Later, Himesh was spotted exiting the crematorium after performing his father's last rights and bidding him the final goodbye.
Himesh Reshammiya was joined by a gathering of close friends, family, and many other notable celebrities from the film industry. The attendees included the sibling duo, Farah Khan and Sajid Khan, who arrived to offer their condolences. Iulia Vantur, Keshwar Merchant, and Shaan also joined the mourning singer during this difficult time and paid their respects to the veteran music director.

If reports are to be believed, it was said that Vipin Reshammiya was not well for a long time, as he was dealing with age-related health issues. It so happened that he was admitted to the hospital after facing difficulty in breathing, where he later passed away. However, it was not revealed when the music director was admitted to the hospital. In an interview with the ETimes, Reshammiya family's close friend, Vanita Thapar, also confirmed the news.
