It’s a bliss for every child to have a grandparent. The relationship between grandchildren and grandparents is special, not only for the unconditional love but the words of wisdom grandchildren grasp from their grandparents. And while we grow up, what stays in our mind are the dada-dadi and nana-nani ki kahaniyan

Just a few days after Dhadak producer, Karan Johar shared a video of his twins, Yash Johar and Roohi Johar’s screaming match on his Instagram handle, another video of his adorable twins with their grandma got viral on June 10, 2018. In a short clip surfacing on the internet, Yash and Roohi can be seen sitting on their grandmother, Hiroo Johar’s lap. (Also Read: Yash-Roohi Have A Screaming Match When Papa Karan Johar Asks Them To Sleep [VIDEO])

Hiroo Johar turned storyteller to the little munchkins and is reading out stories set in 1935. Just like Karan failed to put his little munchkins to sleep in the video that he shared earlier, similarly Hiroo Johar failed to grab the naughty kids’ attention to the story she is narrating. Yash and Roohi are too fussy and distracted that they do not pay heed to what she is saying. (Also Read: Karan Johar Shared Their First Family Portrait On Hiroo Johar's 75th Birthday With Yash And Roohi)

In an earlier interview, Karan explained why he took the path of surrogacy and who inspired him. Karan stated, “A single father is unusual in India. There are some famous single fathers in the world, celebs who were brave to have babies out of surrogacy, like Cristiano Ronaldo and Ricky Martin. But I wasn’t inspired by them. Or by anybody. I know Tusshar Kapoor took the step first. And what he did was amazing. But by the time his son Laksshya was born, my procedure had also started. I feel connected to Tusshar by our common decision. You can’t be inspired by anybody to have a baby out of surrogacy. You have to be emotionally ready. I was also prepared mentally, physically and logistically.” (Also Read: Karan Johar Turns 46, Talks About Finding A Life Partner After Becoming Dad To Twins, Yash And Roohi)

Karan is in a happy space right now, with his films doing exceptionally well at the box-office and he is enjoying his fatherhood phase to the fullest. Single parent Karan Johar, who is playing the role of a mother and a father both, was quoted as saying, "I am playing both mother and father in this dynamic, so I have a double role to play and for me, it's even more daunting. I have told myself that I am not going to be a hysterical, hyper parent because I see so many of them around me and especially leading actresses who become mothers." (Also Read: Karan Johar Shares Adorable Pics Of Twins, Golden-Haired Yash And Roohi With Her Tiny Teeth)

In an interview before his birthday, on May 25, 2018, Karan shared that he is living the best phase of his life. He shared, “I am in a very content phase of life. Actually no, content would be a wrong word. It would mean I am satisfied or when you get too comfortable. But I believe I am in a very exciting phase. I am very energized. I am also in a deeply emotional zone in my life and I mean it with the birth of my children who've really come like a sunshine. Just waking after them and watching them sleep at night are the two highlights of my day. They have changed the whole aura around me. Whether it's the company or the house, we have renewed energies now because of the babies.” (Also Read: Karan Johar Writes A Heartfelt Letter For His Babies And It Will Bring Tears To Your Eyes)

About naming his kids after his parents, Karan went on to say, “It was a given. I always wanted this. I was dying to name my kids after them. Because the three of us are like a solid one unit family. I don't say this in a sappy or emotional way but I say this with all my heart. We're a complete unit. Even when I lost my dad I am completed by his memory. So I thought I needed to take the legacy of that love ahead. I am glad I got the opportunity to do so with my kids. I always said that if I have a boy or a girl I will name both of them after my parents. But if I have two boys or two girls then I won't do because then one of them would feel bad and I had no backup plans to these names. I think I've been very blessed and fortunate that I got these two and named them Yash which is my dad's name and Roohi which has been taken from Hiroo, my mother's name.” (Also Read: Karan Johar Had An Emotional Meltdown Due To His Daughter Roohi Johar, Here's Why)
