After making the entire country proud with their on-field performances, the duo is all set to mark a big milestone in their personal lives as well.

It is time to celebrate love for the Indian hockey team, as our bride and groom both belong to the world of Indian hockey. Indian men's national hockey team forward player, Mandeep Singh will soon be tying the knot with Indian women's national team defender, Udita Duhan. According to the reports, the duo will be tying the knot in Jalandhar, Punjab, on March 21, 2025.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, the couple has already begun with their pre-wedding festivities. Mandeep and Udita had their intimate haldi ceremony in the presence of their close family and several teammates. Other pre-wedding ceremonies are also underway in Jalandhar. Indian Hockey Team shared their best wishes for the couple with an adorable Instagram post as well.

Mandeep Singh and Udita Duhan first met at the Indian National Camp

According to the reports, we can thank the pandemic and their mutual passion for sports for their union. Mandeep first met Udita in 2018 at the Indian National Camp in Bengaluru. While Mandeep hails from Punjab, Udita comes from Haryana.

At first, they only indulged in conversations as colleagues, keeping their conversation limited to sports-related topics, talking about hockey and getting to know each other’s insights into the game. However, as time passed on, their friendship deepened. Nonetheless, their journey to being a couple was not a smooth sail.
