So, you partied like there’s no tomorrow and didn’t mind downing one too many cocktails and wines and beers because it’s ok to celebrate once in a while. Totally justified. Somedays we love letting our hair loose, forgetting the aftermath (which is ok too!). We end up with body ache, headache and puffy eyes; courtesy the dance moves and the alcohol circulating in our system.

#1. Rehydrate by drinking water

No brownie points for guessing the most obvious remedy for your lacklustre skin. You know you’ve dehydrated your body with alcohol, and the only way to replenish it is by downing a tall glass of water, once before you hit the bed at night and again after you wake up.

#2. Grab organic tea bags, potatoes or cucumbers to soothe puffy eyes

Your puffy under-eye skin (all thanks to lack of good sleep and abundance of alcohol!) needs tea bags as a topical remedy. Dip them in hot water and allow them to cool off in the refrigerator before you place them on your eyes. If not that, you could use potato or cucumber cut into thin slices, and place them on your eyes.

#6. Honey and yoghurt to exfoliate the skin

Although alcohol doesn’t directly result in zits, but it affects the hormones which give you a couple of zits here and there. A quick remedy for them is honey, which has magical antibacterial properties and thus can be used as spot treatment.
