#1. Dry Hair: Olive Oil Hair Mask

For those complaining about dry hair, nothing can be more nourishing than olive oil. Combine two egg yolks with two tablespoons of olive oil, and mix well to form a hair mask that is perfect for dry hair. You need to keep this mask on for fifteen minutes before rinsing it off. Filled with essential fatty acids, vitamins, proteins and antioxidants, eggs will make your hair softer and healthier. While olive oil will strengthen and soften your dry hair. Alternatively, you could also apply a mask of honey and olive oil for extra moisturisation.

#2. Oily Hair: Oatmeal Hair Mask

This pack helps to remove excess oil from hair, and nourishes oily hair. Apart from this, oatmeal hair mask is also an excellent solution for treating scalp problems, such as inflammation and dandruff. Not only does it ensure a clean scalp, but also soft and silky hair with improved growth as well. With a paste made with equal quantities of almond oil, oatmeal and fresh milk, this hair mask is easy to prepare. Apply the paste on to untangled dry hair, and leave on for twenty minutes. Rinse with mild shampoo to reveal soft and silky hair. Use this mask once a week to see visible results.

#3. Dry and Damaged Hair: Egg and Yogurt Hair Mask

Many people get chemical treatments, such as colouring or extensions, or even heat treatments such as blow dry done to their hair. Though the immediate effect of these treatments is beautiful, the long-term damage is much harder to manage. By regularly applying an egg and yogurt hair mask the effects of this damage can be neutralised to quite an extent. Mix together a beaten egg, in equal quantity of plain yogurt and mayonnaise to get a thick paste. Apply this on to the hair and scalp in a massaging motion, and let it rest for an hour, before washing off with cold water.

#4. For Limp Hair: Beer Hair Mask

Flat hair does not really go with any dress. Try this easy hair mask to give you hair a natural volume boost. Combine half a cup of flat beer (pour the beer in a container and let it sit for a couple of hours) with a raw egg and a tablespoon of sunflower oil. This should be applied on damp and clean hair for twenty minutes, before rinsing off with cold water. Not only does it increase hair volume, but also makes them bouncy, and is a great way to use up all the leftover flat beer from the game night!

#5. For Frizzy Hair: Avocado Hair Mask

Considered as one of the best naturally occurring nourishing ingredient, avocado provides great conditioning to hair. Perfect for dry, weak or damaged hair, avocado hair masks reduces hair fall while leaving the hair smooth and soft. Add a tablespoon of honey and two of olive oil to one mashed avocado to make a creamy paste. Apply this on your scalp, and keep it for twenty minutes, before rinsing off with cold water and mild shampoo. You can also add egg yolk or mayonnaise to this pack to make it even more wonderful.
