Honey Singh is going through a rough phase ever since his estranged wife, Shalini Talwar filed a domestic violence complaint against him.
Bollywood singer and rapper, Honey Singh is going through a difficult phase after his estranged wife, Shalini Talwar, filed a domestic violence case. In the last few months, there have been a lot of accusations and revelations from the singer's wife, Shalini, as she had opened up on the ordeal she has gone through in the last ten years of their marriage.
For the uninitiated, the couple has known each other for seventeen years. Honey and Shalini were childhood sweethearts, and they had tied the knot on January 23, 2011. This year, in 2021, the duo had completed ten years of marital bliss. But, looks like God had different plans for this once-in-love couple.

On September 28, 2021, a Delhi court ordered that the proceedings of the domestic violence case, which has been filed against the rapper by his wife, Shalini, would be conducted on camera. If reports are believed that the court had asked Shalini if she accepts the on-camera proceedings, to which she had agreed.
According to a report in Zee News India, Shalini had accused her husband of domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment and financial fraud. The case was filed before Ms Tania Singh, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of the Tis Hazari Court. The court has issued a notice to Honey Singh and has asked him to file his reply by August 28, 2021. It has also passed interim orders favouring Shalini, restraining Honey from disposing of his jointly-owned property.

Earlier, in an interview with Republic, Yo Yo Honey Singh had talked about his wife and had said, "My wife and I have known each other for 17 years. She has been supportive throughout my bad phase when even my family didn't handle the situation. She is a brave lady, and many things in my life have become splendid because of her. She is a good critic as well. However, she does not always praise my songs."
On the work front, Honey Singh recently released his music video, Kanta Laga, with Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar.
