In an interview, Hrithik Roshan's girlfriend, Saba Azad reacted when asked if it bothers her that her personal life is discussed more than her work.
Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan has been grabbing a lot of attention for his relationship with singer-actor, Saba Azad. Every now and then, he gets spotted with his ladylove. Their relationship rumours began when they were spotted for the first time walking hand-in-hand out of a restaurant, and now, they never miss a chance to attend various parties and dinner dates. Recently in an interview, Saba opened up about how it bothers her when people talk about her personal life.
In an interview with India Today, Hrithik Roshan's ladylove, Saba Azad reacted that it bothers her that her personal life is discussed more than her work. She thinks that women have been seen as a means to facilitate the men in their lives. Talking about the same, she said:
"It absolutely bothers me. For long, women have been seen as a means to facilitate the men in their lives. That is a universal phenomenon. That is a product of patriarchy. That has gone on for far too long. But I also think it is changing now. Women are in every field now and they are succeeding equally as the men."

In the same interview, Saba further mentioned that despite things having changed and women succeeding, they are still fighting for certain things and it is not an equal world yet. Mentioning the reason why people still celebrate International Women's Day, she shared:
"However, we are still fighting for equal pay, the safety of women, women's health and so much more that haven't even been given a thought. There is dowry, trafficking, all kinds of atrocities. It is not an equal world yet and that is why we celebrate the International Women's Day. If we had an equal world, we perhaps wouldn't have to celebrate it for just one day. This is a reminder to the kind of work we should continue to do."

This is not the first time that she has spoken about people discussing her personal life. Earlier, in an interview with News18, Saba Azad had reacted to Bollywood's paparazzi culture, which gives an easy access to people talking about her personal life. She said that if someone goes to work somewhere else, in another field, nobody discusses their personal life. However, she finds it only in the entertainment industry, where people constantly talk about what's happening in a celeb's life. Sharing the same, Saba said:
"If one was to go to work, anywhere else, to any other field, you go to work, you come back home, nobody is discussing your personal life. Your personal life is your business. But I find this is one industry where it would be discussed. But having said that, let's not talk further about it."
