At the Hindustan Times Mint Asia Leadership Summit in Singapore, Hrithik Roshan revealed what had hurt him the most in his whole episode with Kangana Ranaut.
The ‘Greek God’ of the industry, Hrithik Roshan has swooned us with his charm and terrific performance in his films. Kangana Ranaut is one of the most looked-upon actresses from the industry for her bold self and extremely candid and honest interviews. Hrithik and Kangana had met each other during the filming of Krrish 3 and apparently, soon loved brewed between them. Though during their alleged dating phase, neither of them had talked about their relationship, but later in 2016, Kangana had a lot to say about her ‘true love’, Hrithik and how he made things difficult for her. Since then, a lot has been said and written about Hrithik and Kangana’s fiasco. (Also Read: Anil Kapoor Cannot Stop Praising His Wife, Sunita As He Calls Her The Best Host In The Entire B-town)
During the #MeToo movement, taking a dig against her once-beau, Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut, had spoken her heart out. Suggesting to ‘boycott’ Hrithik alongside many men, she had stated, “There are men who make false promises of love and marriage to a girl to get them into a relationship that is also a type of harassment. There are married men who keep their wives as trophies and keep young girls as their mistresses like Hrithik. Nobody should work with such people. They should be boycotted.”
At the Hindustan Times Mint Asia Leadership Summit in Singapore, Hrithik Roshan spoke about his recent hit Super 30, his co-panellist Katrina Kaif and what had hurt him the most in his whole episode with Kangana Ranaut. Speaking about what had hurt him the most when Kangana had taken digs at him over the last few years, Hrithik said, “What hurt me was that media gave attention to the audacity with which that certain person was indulging in lying and deceit.”
Discussing the success of his film, Super 30, in which he played a teacher, Hrithik Roshan stated, “Since I took the character so strong and worked hard for it, I have a sense of satisfaction now.” Hrithik also compared his Bang Bang! and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara co-star, Katrina Kaif as a ‘labourer’, because of the hard work she puts into perfecting dance moves. When the noted dance, Hrithik was asked who requires more retakes between him and Katrina, he remarked, “This is something that I’ve always told Katrina, which she kind of takes as an insult, but which I mean as an incredibly well-intentioned compliment. I regard Katrina as a ‘mazdoor’; she is a labourer, she is a worker. She is one of the best labourers and workers that I’ve ever come across.”
Hrithik Roshan had continued, “I’m telling you, deep inside Katrina is a ‘mazdoor’; she just happens to be beautiful and hot and all of those things. Those are just the decorations, but deep inside, she is a worker. Having said that, she is so super talented, it becomes very easy for her, it becomes very easy for me when I’m working with her.” (Also Read: Neha Kakkar Shares A Cryptic Post About Not Stressing Over Someone And How Life Should Move On)
Hrithik Roshan’s sister, Sunaina Roshan had also revealed her side of the story about the difficult times with the Roshan clan as they don’t approve of her being in the love with a man belonging to the Muslim community. And her one tweet about supporting Kangana Ranaut throughout and finding solace in the Ranaut sisters, had taken the internet by the storm. Speaking about her miseries, she had also revealed that her father, Rakesh Roshan had apparently hit her and her brother, Hrithik Roshan turned blind eye to her troubles.
During the promotions of Super 30, in an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Hrithik Roshan had spoken about his sister, Sunaina Roshan’s current mindset and had stated, “This is an internal, private and sensitive matter for me and my family. In didi’s current state, it would not be correct of me to speak about her. It is an unfortunate situation that probably many families are going through and are as helpless as we are, owing to stigmas and an incredibly weak medical infrastructure in this country for such cases."
Hrithik Roshan had also responded to his sister, Sunaina Roshan’s claim that because the boy she loved was Muslim, there were disputes in her family. Hrithik had commented on the same, “Religion is not even a thing in my family. It has never been discussed or been given importance whatsoever in my entire life. And I would like to believe that it is obvious to the world by now."
We have, more often than not, have seen Kangana Ranaut taking a dig at her rumoured controversial affair with Hrithik Roshan. Reacting to the constant controversies thrown in by the actress, Hrithik had stated in the same interview, “I have come to realise that bullies have to be treated with a certain amount of patience, and not be engaged with. It is upon the civil society and those who claim to be just and fair to see and observe if there is harassment. Also, being who I am, if I choose to confront as per laws, I become the aggressor. If I withdraw from a film-clash that I know has been pre-designed, then I become a weakling penning a sob story. I have learned to not get affected by either."
