After enjoying their married life as a couple, Soha and Kunal entered the parents’s club on September 28, 2017, as they welcomed Inaaya in their lives. In an interview once, Soha shared how her life has changed after the birth of little angel Inaaya. Talking about the ‘new boss’ at home, Soha was quoted as saying, “But ultimately it is just us at home. So it’s quite different. The obvious change for me is that I am used to being in control of things. I am a control freak. I like to plan and organise things, whether it’s fitness, eating on time and getting my ten hours of sleep. All of that has gone out of the window. I’m no longer the boss, Inaya is. Life revolves around her.”

Revealing the values she wants Inaaya to inculcate, the doting mother was quoted as saying, “I want Inaaya to be her own person. I would like her to have open communication with me. Things like integrity, trust, loyalty, being kind to others, are some of the things I would like to see in her. It shouldn’t be that Inaaya remains only surrounded by love and positivity. She should also be a strong person, with the sense of security to withstand criticism and also be able to laugh. I think having a sense of humour is very important.” (Also Read: Tahira Kashyap Pens An Emotional Note For Daughter, Varushka Khurrana, Calls Her 'Bathroom Stalker')

The caring and loving mother also shared that she is afraid of buri nazar on Inaaya, which is why she puts kaala teeka on her forehead. Soha had once shared, “They are too small now. I don’t understand about their fan following but, of course, she is my daughter, so I find her cute. People around me get worried because recently I uploaded a picture of Inaaya on Instagram, but they thought that she will catch the evil eye. But she was looking very cute, so it made me do that. But after that, I also felt worried because a lot of people praised her picture and then I applied kohl on her forehead.” (Checkout: Deepika Padukone Gets All Teary-Eyed At Zee Cine Awards 2019 Thanks To Her Husband, Ranveer Singh)

On her and Kunal's evolution as parents, Soha had recently said, "Yes, I think separately and together. A marriage evolves and adapts to a new person being an integral part of your life." She also went on to add, "And independently also, I am the youngest in my family, I have never been responsible for anyone else, I've never had to look after anyone, I have never changed a diaper or fed someone or made someone sleep or been around someone so vulnerable. So, it really is a life-changing experience.” (Don't Miss: Deepika Padukone Reveals Her Plans For First Holi After Tying The Knot With Ranveer Singh)

On constantly keeping an eye on Inaaya, Soha had remarked, "It can be challenging and exhausting to watch after someone all the time, but you know that's life. You have to understand that life is different now and it will never be the same.” She also added, "And for me, even if I am away from her, I am worried about her. Even if I know someone responsible is looking after her, I want to be there. But you have to let go, you know literally cutting that umbilical cord has to happen. The faster you accept that and trust other responsible people around your child, the easier and better it will be for you."
