There are numerous talented names in Pakistani film and television, which is also known as Lollywood. Be it Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar, Hamsa Ali Abbasi, Imran Abbas, or Sajal Aly Mawra Hocane etc., these Pakistani celebs have proved their immense talent with their body of work over these years.
However, there are some Indian artists, who have worked in Pakistani films and dramas and impressed the audience with their talent. These Indian stars are already well-established names in the Indian entertainment industry, but they dared to step out of their horizon to entertain their neighbouring country.

The beautiful actress, Shweta Tiwari shot to fame with Kasauti Zindagi Kay and later featured in many shows. The gorgeous actress did a Pakistani film called Sultanat in 2014, which also starred actor, Ahsaan Khan. She played the role of ‘Pari’ in the film.
Arbaaz Khan, who made his acting debut as an antagonist in the Bollywood film, Daraar was popularly known for his works in films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Malamaal Weekly, Dabangg and a few others. The handsome actor worked in a Pakistani film called Godfather: The Legend Continues, where he played the role of ‘Shakir Khan’.
Actress, television personality and Rajya Sabha MP, Kirron Kher is one of the leading names in Bollywood. Her effortless performances in films like Sardari Begum, Devdas, Main Hoon Na, Dostana and many more got her a lot of recognition. In 2003, Kirron did a Pakistani film titled Khamosh Pani, in which she played the role of a Pakistani widow, whose life changed after partition. Kirron’s splendid performance in the film got her Best Actress Award at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland.
The pioneer of Indian cinema, Naseeruddin Shah needs no introduction as the actor is hailed for his intense and effortless acting. Apart from some tremendous Indian films, Naseeruddin Shah also proved his mettle in acting with two hit Pakistani films. In 2007, Naseeruddin acted in the film, Khuda Ke Liye, which also starred Fawad Khan, Shaan Shahid and Iman Ali. He also did another Pakistani film, Zinda Bhagh in 2013, which also became a blockbuster.

Having done a variety of roles in multiple languages, Om Puri was regarded as one of the finest actors in world cinema. Recipient of two National Awards, Om Puri was known for his author-backed roles. Om Puri has appeared in some Pakistani films, among which Actor In Law was the one released in 2016, which got him immense applause.
Born in Peshawar (now in Pakistan) to a Punjabi Hindu family, Vinod Khanna was born to shine. His handsome looks and versatile acting got him huge recognition across the globe. Some of his best-remembered performances include Mera Gaon Mera Desh, The Burning Train, Kudrat, Qurbani, Chandni, Jurm and a few others. In 2007, Vinod Khanna acted in the Pakistani Urdu film, Godfather: The Legend Continues.
Actress and former Miss India, Neha Dhupia made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with the film, Qayamat: City Under Threat and rose to fame with the film, Julie. With some stellar performances in films like Chup Chup Ke, Mithya, Sanak, and A Thursday, Neha proved her acting chops. In 2008, Neha acted in a Pakistani film, Kabhi Pyar Na Karna, which also starred Veena Malik, Zara Sheikh and Moammar Rana.

The badie of Bollywood, Gulshan Grover is known to portray negative roles. Gulshan has appeared in more than 100 films and has made a huge impact with his Bad Man image. Some of his notable roles in Bollywood include Vijaypath, Raja Babu, Dilwale, Mohra, Aag, Criminal, The Gambler, Hera Pheri, Gangster, and many more. Gulshan also played a negative role in the Pakistani film, Virsa, released in 2010, which also featured actor, Arya Babbar.
Popular TV serial actress, Sara Khan rose to fame with her serial, Bidaai. She was also seen in the show, Sasural Simar Ka and the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss. Her first Pakistani serial was Bay Khudi in 2016, where she played the role of ‘Fiza’. In 2017, Sara also acted in another serial called Laikin.
Popular Indian serial actor, Akashdeep Saigal is best known for playing the role of a villain in the serial, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Akashdeep was seen in various other television shows like Kkusum, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Kuchh Is Tara, Bigg Boss and many others. In 2014, Akashdeep played a villain character in the Pakistani film, Sultanat.
Popular comedian, Johnny Lever is popular for his comic roles in Indian cinema. The actor tickled the audience’s funny bones with films like Baazigar, Awara Paagal Deewana, Dilwale, Indian, Koi...Mil Gaya, Phir Hera Pheri, Badshah and many more. In 2010, Johnny Lever starred in a Pakistani film titled Love Mein Ghum, which also starred Pakistani stars, Moammar Rana and Reema Khan.
Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shukla, who gained recognition with her role as ‘Bindia Naik’ in the film, Chak De! India has done some amazing films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Bhindi Bazaar, B.A. Pass and a few others. But before making her Hindi film debut, Shilpa made her acting debut with the Pakistani film, Khamosh Pani in 2003.
These talented Indian celebs have proved that art knows no boundaries. Just like in India, these Indian celebs enjoy a massive fan following in Pakistan too.
