The wedding venues are fully-booked and the vendors are on their feet to organise the best wedding setup. And while we can spot newly-wedded couples in every nook and corner, a new couple is soon going to join the bandwagon of the to-be-married couples. We are talking about Indian cricketer, Shardul Thakur and his bride-to-be, Mittali Parulkar, who just got engaged!

The promising Indian swinger, Shardul Thakur is a popular name in the Indian cricket circuit. Born on October 16, 1991, in Palghar, Maharashtra, Shardul has gained name and fame at a very young age. Despite being under media scrutiny for a long time, the 30-year-old cricketer has managed to keep his personal life under the wraps. Moreover, now that the pictures from his engagement ceremony are doing rounds on the internet, his fans are in awe of him and his bride-to-be!

A few moments back, one of Shardul Thakur's fan pages shared some videos and photos from his engagement with his longtime girlfriend, Mittali Parulkar. As soon as the photos surfaced online, the cricketer's fans were stunned, and couldn't get enough of the adorable couple in their gorgeous traditional ensembles. Moreover, they flooded the comment section, and heaped praises and showered their love and blessings on the newly-engaged couple.

For the intimate engagement ceremony, Mittali and Shardul opted for traditional ensembles. While Shardul looked dapper in a bottle-green-coloured kurta, paired with an off-white pyjama, on the other hand, his bride-to-be was a sight to behold in a rani pink banarasi saree. Mittali accessorised her look with gold jewellery, including a choker neckpiece and matching earrings. She tied her hair in a bun and adorned it with real pink flowers. The couple looked picture-perfect in their complementing wedding ensembles. While Shardul donned a beige-coloured heavy-embroidered sherwani, Mittali looked gorgeous in a pastel pink lehenga. She paired her outfit with a matching blouse featuring flared sleeves and completed her look with glam makeup and open tresses.

For those who are wondering about when the talented cricketer will start the new chapter of his life with his bride-to-be, Mittali Parulkar, we might have some good news for you! As per the reports, Shardul Thakur and Mittali Parulkar will tie the knot after the T20 World Cup in Australia, next year. However, there is no official confirmation from the couple about the same.

According to a report in The Times Of India, their engagement ceremony was reportedly was a small affair with a limited number of guests. The engagement function was held at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s facility in Mumbai in the presence of 75 guests, including close friends and family members. However, the cricket addicts couldn't help but notice the 'Hitman' of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, shaking a leg with the groom-to-be, Shardul Thakur.
