The legendary singer has completed 41 years in Indian cinema, and on this special occasion, Udit Narayan has shared a precious picture from his memory lane on one of his social media handles. Soon, his son and host, Aditya Narayan, also reshared it on his Instagram handle and called him the greatest.
On July 5, 2021, Aditya Narayan took to his Instagram handle and reshared a memorable picture posted by his father and iconic singer, Udit Narayan, on his IG handle. The doting son congratulated his father on completing 41 years in the Indian film and music industry. The rare picture is from Udit Narayan's first-ever playback venture for the film, Unees Bees. Along with this special picture, Aditya penned a sweet note in the caption, in which he called his father GOAT (Greatest of all time). His note can be read as "Happy Udit Narayan day to the G.O.A.T. #41years."
Udit Narayan originally posted the monochrome picture on his IG handle. Along with this photo, the veteran singer also shared some memorable details about his first-ever recording venture in Indian cinema. Recalling the same, Udit stated in his caption that he was fortunate enough to sing his debut song with his idol and legendary singer, late Mohammad Rafi. His note can be read as "41 years ago, my first ever playback venture in the Indian Film & Music industry for the film 'Unees Bees' released, composed by Rajesh Roshan ji. I was fortunate to sing my debut song with my idol Shri Mohammad Rafi saab."
At the end of his note, Udit Narayan thanked people for their constant support and love throughout his singing career in the Indian film industry and for recognising July 5 as 'Udit Narayan Day'. The veteran singer ended his note by writing, "Thanks to everyone who gave me the opportunity to work with them, the young boy from Mithilanchal fulfilled his ambition of becoming a playback singer. Thank you fans & well-wishers for recognising July 5 as Udit Narayan day" in the caption.

Once on the sets of the popular comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, Aditya Narayan had appeared with his father, Udit Narayan and mother, Deepa Narayan. The Narayan family had set the stage on fire with their hilarious and emotional revelations about each other. However, one of the show's best moments was when Aditya had revealed that his girlfriends were more impressed by his father.
Recalling the same, Aditya Narayan had also highlighted his father, Udit Narayan's friendly equation with him and his friends. He had said, "When I was quite young, in my college days, I invited one of my girlfriend's to my house. I also introduced her to my parents. My mom was busy doing her daily chores, and I thought dad would go back after saying hi-hello but instead, he sat there with us."
Udit Narayan's son, Aditya Narayan, is currently hosting the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12.
