Mallika Reddy is the granddaughter of GV Krishna Reddy, founder of GVK Groups. The gorgeousness married Siddharth, who is the son of Indu Group's Indukuri Syam Prasad Reddy in June 2011. The couple had a lavish wedding that is still remembered years later. According to a report in the Indian Express, more than 5000 wedding invites were sent which cost Rs. 2.5 crores in total. Famous designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla had not only designed the couple and their family's outfits, but they also curated the decor. According to media reports, the total cost of the wedding was Rs. 100 crores.
Another famous businessman, Sanjay Hindu's wedding made headlines. Sanjay Hindu tied the knot with his ladylove, Anu Mahtani in a grand wedding ceremony in Udaipur in 2015. Their wedding festivities lasted for seven days, with the pop sensation, Jennifer Lopez's performance, which was around Rs. 54 lakhs. The bride, Anu Mahtani had donned a pretty red and gold lehenga designed by Tarun Tahiliani, which was reported to be priced over Rs. 2 crores. The combined outfits cost of the bride and the groom were over Rs. 10 crores. In total, total the cost of the entire wedding was around Rs. 150 crores.
Another most expensive wedding was of Dubai-based businessman, Adel Sajan, who is the son of Danube Group tycoon, Rizwan Sajan. He tied the knot with beauty queen, Sana Khan in April 2017. The highlight of his wedding was the Dil Dhadakne Do-inspired cruise, which sailed along the Mediterranean Sea from Genoa to Barcelona. The party decor included 100 tulips from Holland, 20,000 red roses and 100 hydrangea flowers from Ecuador that made the venue look whimsical. A 13-tier wedding cake was crafted for a special white party. Not many know the bride's wedding trousseau was designed by Neeta Lulla and it also included an LED dress that glowed in the dark. The total cost of the wedding was Rs. 200 crores.
At a time when destination weddings were not-so-famous, Steel King, Lakshmi Mittal's daughter, Vanisha Mittal tied the knot with Amit Bhatia in Paris, France, in the year 2004. The wedding is still famous, and according to reports around 10,000 guests had marked their presence.
Famous Bollywood personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Aishwarya Rai performed at the wedding, and Javed Akhtar wrote a play for the family. While French media criticised the grand wedding and the way Mr Mittal showed off his wealth, Indians considered it the second grand wedding. The total budget of the wedding was Rs. 200 crores.
Famous businessman and politician kids, Lalit Tanwar and Yogita Jaunapuria's wedding is reported as another most expensive weddings in 2011. According to media reports, the families spent a whopping Rs. 200 crores on the lavish affair. Hindustan Times reported that each guest was gifted a silver biscuit, a safari suit and 40,000 cash. However, not many know that the bride's family gifted a five-seater chopper to the groom, whose value was around 33 crores in 2011.

Steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal's niece, Shrishti Mittal got married in 2013 in Barcelona. She tied the knot with Gulraj Behl in a three-day-long festivities. The wedding is remembered as the most extravagant wedding with exotic flower decor and fancy lighting. The entire expenditure of the wedding was over Rs. 500 crores.
Mining baron Galu Janardhan Reddy's daughter, Brahmani tied the knot in a lavish wedding with Rajeev Reddy in 2016. Rajeev Reddy is the son of industrialist, Vikram Deva Reddy, and it is believed that the groom's family owns gold and diamond mines in Africa. The bride's Kanjeevaram saree, which she wore on the wedding day is approximately Rs. 17 crores.
The bride wore expensive jewellery with diamonds, rubies and other precious stones, and it was priced at around Rs. 90-98 crores. Her diamond sheesh patti was the highlight of her entire look. The cost of the entire wedding was priced at Rs. 550 crores.
Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani tied the knot with Anand Piramal on December 12, 2018, in Mumbai. Their wedding is still considered the grandest wedding in India. After all, singing sensation, Beyonce had performed at the grand affair. We had witnessed the Bachchans dancing on the stage, and serving meals. Not many know that Isha Ambani's wedding expenditure was around Rs. 700 crores.
