Popular influencer, Cherry Jain opted for a lavender-hued outfit for her 'haldi' ceremony and set a new trend for modern brides.
Girls love to have fun and experiment with new colours and textures at their pre-wedding and wedding functions. These days, many brides have broken the stereotypes of wearing the traditional red attires on their D-Day and opting for unconventional colours. However, this time we stumbled upon a bride, Cherry Jain, who broke the trend of wearing a yellow ensemble on her haldi. For the unversed, Cherry is a popular influencer by profession, and she often shares glimpses of her life on her YouTube channel as well.
Popular influencer, Cherry Jain tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Apaar Rastogi. She looked like a vision to behold at her haldi ceremony, as she broke the notion of donning yellow ensembles. Instead, the modern bride opted for a lavender-hued outfit to mark the beginning of her wedding festivities. Sharing a beautiful video of her haldi look, Cherry revealed that she was always sure that she didn't want to wear yellow on her haldi. Her note can be read as:
"This is by far my favourite look that we customised!! I was so sure that I don’t want to wear Yellow on my haldi and from DAY 1, I wanted to do lavender. @nitikakanodiagupta aced the haldi look by customising this outfit for me and it looked bomb, trust me!! The coconut trees, the beach, the colours everything just fell into place."

Cherry Jain opted for a lavender-hued pre-draped skirt with fringe detailing on its front along with a slit. She paired her plain skirt with a matching heavily-embellished off-shoulder blouse. Her corset-like bodice had a unique patterned neck, which was completely detached from the blouse. Cherry's custom-made outfit was the perfect pick for a beach-side haldi ceremony, and modern brides can definitely take inspiration from it.
Cherry added a pop of colour to her look by donning pink stone-embedded jewellery. She opted for a pair of statement earrings, haath phool, and payal with gold ghunghroo detailing to accentuate her look. Moreover, the bride styled her look with a pair of embroidered pink juttis. To top it off, she opted for a sleek braided hairdo and subtle makeup and accessorised it with a pair of cool sunglasses.

For her mehendi ceremony, Cherry went for a hassle-free look and donned a sharara set. Her outfit included a maroon-hued kurta paired with a mustard-hued sharara. Her kurta had gold patchwork all over it. She styled her look with a contrasting sheer blue-hued dupatta which she draped in a cape style. To complete her look, she opted for gold and stone jewellery which included a choker neckpiece, a maang teeka and matching earrings.
For her cocktail ceremony, Cherry Jain donned a glittery sea green lehenga which had heavy embellishments all over it. Her outfit featured a skirt, a full-sleeved blouse and a sheer dupatta which was tucked over her shoulders like a cape. To accentuate her look, she opted for stone-studded jewellery, which made her even more glamorous. The bride donned a choker neckpiece and matching earrings and left her wavy curls open in the side partition. On the other hand, her then-to-be-groom complemented her in a beige-hued sherwani with a matching jacket and brown pyjama.
