On the day of mehendi, Geeta chose to go with a pastel-coloured outfit designed by the celebrity designer, Archana Kochhar. She wore a lemon yellow coloured embellished lehenga and a pastel pink crop top/choli that had antique silver work on it. Skipping heavy jewellery, the bride wore just the earrings and a matha patti from Narayan Jewellers.
Other than the beautiful lehenga, it was the lovely matha patti that made Geeta Basra look like a million bucks in all her pictures.
Yellow is a gorgeous colour that looks fabulous on Indian skin tones, and a bride to be can never go wrong with this colour. So, when in doubt about which colour to go for your mehendi, we suggest you go for the bright and happy yellow colour. It would be perfect for a summer wedding.

For the sangeet night, Geeta Basra was seen in a Babita Malkani designed emerald green lehenga with golden embroidery on it. Looking every bit grand in this ensemble, she accessorised it with a choker gold necklace, gold earrings, a mix of gold and green bangles in both hands and a simple maang tikka. She was even wearing a small nose stud that suited her quite well.
The most striking part of her look for the day was the emerald green colour of the ensemble.
Being an olive skinned beauty, Geeta was very smart to choose emerald green, a colour that complements her skin tone very well. So, if you are a bride with a similar skin tone you can definitely go for emerald green or any other warm pastel green.
Designed by Archana Kochhar, Geeta sported a burnt orange coloured lehenga choli with gold work on it for the chooda ceremony. Defying the trend of crop tops, the beautiful bride opted to wear a long choli with her lehenga. As the neckline of the choli was a heavily embroidered one with gold thread work, the actress did not wear any necklace. Once more, she wore a simple maang tikka, jhoomkis and a statement ring.
Again, Geeta nailed it with her choice of colour for the outfit and her simple side swept fishtail braid.
This gorgeous diva knows the colours that look best on her skin tone. Her choice for a burnt orange coloured ensemble is an example of that. You can pick a beautiful lehenga in this colour or warmer pink and coral for your wedding day if you have a skin tone similar to that of hers.

The Bollywood actress looked like a maharani on her wedding day. Everything about the wedding outfit was just perfect. She wore a traditional red lehenga with gold embroidery, which was again designed by Archana Kochhar. To accentuate the deep neckline of her choli, Geeta opted for heavy kundan jewellery from Narayan Jewellers. From nath, hath phool to a maang tikka, this Bollywood bride was seen wearing them all like a traditional bride.
The coordinated outfits of the bride and the groom really stood out in the whole wedding crowd.
Since the outfit for both the bride and the groom was designed by the same designer, i.e. Archana Kochhar, there were a lot of similarities in the materials and the embroideries used for both the outfits. Harbhajan Singh was seen wearing an off-white and red sherwani that definitely complemented the red colour lehenga of the bride. But, what really caught our attention were the little details in the groom’s outfit that were borrowed from the bride’s ensemble. The cover of the sword that Bhajji carried and his dupatta had the same gota patti work found in Geeta’s wedding outfit. Even the embroidery patch was same. The whole coordination made them look absolutely picture perfect. So, we recommend you to make sure that your fiance is paying close attention to what you would be wearing on your D-day.
