Iqra Aziz Shared That Her Mother Wasn't Happy After Her Birth As She Wanted A Son, 'Khushi Nahi Hui'

Pakistani actress, Iqra Aziz revealed that her mother wanted a son, which is why she was utterly disappointed when the 'Suno Chanda' actress was born.

Iqra Aziz divulged that her mother was utterly disappointed after her birth

In a recent interview with Momina Mixed Plate, Iqra Aziz revealed that her mother wanted a boy in her place as she already had a daughter, and a boy could complete her family. However, Iqra was born, for which her mother, Aasiya, was unhappy. She added that her mother was taken aback when the nurse placed a girl in her arms as she was expecting the baby to be a boy. But now, Iqra is the one she loves the most.

Iqra added that her mother struggled a lot to provide them with the best opportunities as they did not have a dad growing up. Iqra’s father, Abdul Aziz, unfortunately, passed away at a young age, leaving behind his family to fetch on their own. After which, Aasiya became the first female Careem driver in Karachi. For the unversed, Careem provides transportation facilities in Karachi just like Uber and Ola, and more in India.

Iqra Aziz’s hit TV drama, Mannat Murad, just wrapped up its last episode a few days back. It garnered much appreciation from the audience for its raw depiction of reality on television screens. The actress will next be seen in the drama, Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet opposite Hamza Sohail. Apart from this, Iqra has been signed for the first Pakistani Netflix original, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, opposite Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed and others.

The couple welcomed their son, Kabir, in 2019, who further escalates the cuteness quotient of the family. The three of them often take to social media to post pictures and videos of their chronicles, and it is the cutest entertainment dose for all.
