Irrfan Khan is often regarded as one of the greatest actors ever in the history of Indian cinema. Even after so many years of his untimely demise, Irrfan continues to lead news headlines. Another such instance features popular film producer, Nikkhil Advani, who revealed that Irrfan was his first choice for Airlift, but he recommended Akshay Kumar's name.
Recalling Irrfan Khan's kind nature, Nikkhil Advani said, "He (Irrfan) told me, 'Boss, mere sath mat kar ye picture. It is a fantastic film but don't do it with me because you will not get the budget. Go to Akshay." Such was the purity of Irrfan and the reason why he is still alive in everyone's hearts.
In a recent interview with IANS, Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar, opened up about her late husband's dreams. Talking about the same, Sutapa revealed that Irrfan wanted to own a mango farm in Maharashtra. Sharing how he wanted to be a 'modern farmer', Sutapa revealed his future plans.
Sutapa Sikdar further added that her husband, Irrfan Khan, was planning to purchase more fruit gardens in different parts of the country. During the inauguration of Irrfan Theatre Festival in Jaipur, Sutapa also revealed that Irrfan wanted to open an acting institute in Jaipur, but it couldn't happen during his lifetime.
Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 53, and even to this very day, his wife, Sutapa Sikdar and their sons, Babil Khan and Ayaan Khan, are trying to let this reality sink in. When Irrfan passed away, Babil was in his early 20s, while Ayaan was still in his teenage years. After Irrfan Khan's demise, Babil and Ayaan went into depression and experienced anxiety. However, after Irrfan's passing, Sutapa and her sons didn't face any financial trouble because the late actor left so much wealth for them.
According to several reports, Irrfan Khan had an estimated net worth of Rs. 321 crore. Apart from the mammoth fortune of Rs. 321 crores, Irrfan also owned a beautiful house in Mumbai and a luxurious property on Madh Island. Not only this, Irrfan also owned four luxury cars, including a Toyota Celica, a Maserati Quattroporte, an Audi, and a BMW. The late actor made sure that his family didn't face any trouble in terms of money, which once again proves that he was not just a tremendous actor but a complete family man.
