Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikander penned a note for her late husband and wondered how he would have loved to work with Diljit Dosanjh after watching his film, 'Amar Singh Chamkila'.
Diljit Dosanjh's film, Amar Singh Chamkila has been making a lot of noise for its unique storyline. It is a biopic of Punjabi singer, Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife, Amarjot Kaur, and how they were shot dead due to their rivalry. And not just Punjab, but the entire Bollywood is going gaga over Chamkila's songs and his life story. Sutapa Sikander, wife of late actor, Irrfan Khan, is one of them, and she is super sure that the legendary star would have loved to work with him.
On May 1, 2024, Sutapa took to her Instagram handle, and posted a throwback picture with her late husband, Irrfan Khan, and penned a heartwrenching note. In the note, she penned a guilt of living without her husband for the past four years and three days. She also added that if Irrfan was still with her, she would have asked him to watch Diljit Dosanjh's movie, Amar Singh Chamkila, while he would be reading a book.

Sutapa's praise for the Punjabi singer-actor, Diljit Dosanjh, would have instantly made Irrfan curious and he would be planning to work with him and would have called Dinesh Vijayan to plan something. An excerpt from Sutapa's note can be read as:
"He would be coming home mostly in 2024 straight from the shoot and would be petting our cat and reading.Me :: you have to see chamkila. He would not have looked up immediately( never did while he was reading). Me : he is sooo good.. I loved his performance. He : Accha? Who? Me : Arre yaar Diljit Dosaanj .. he is so not structured and all heart.. he makes me feel. He ( now looking at me) Accha .. you think he is that good! Me: yes!!! You and he should work together it will be magic you should play a Sardar again after quissa and two brother kind of story. He : hummm (his phone rings) hey dinu (Dinesh Vijayan) yaar yeh sutapa Bol rahi hai Diljit dosanj bahut Accha hai."
On April 25, 2024, Babil Khan took to his IG handle and posted a cryptic note, which he deleted soon. However, the eagle-eyed fans took screenshot of the same and shared it on Reddit. In the note, Babil expressed that there are days when he feels like giving up and going to his papa, Irrfan. The heartbreaking post left many shocked, and the prayed for Babil's well-being.
