Recently, there were rumours regarding a budding relationship between the K-pop band, Seventeen’s member, Joshua and a model, Cho Mi Young. One of Joshua's fans took to their social media handle and pointed out that the K-pop idol and the model had worn a number of similar outfits on various occasions.
The South Korean entertainment industry is notoriously secretive, preventing artists from openly sharing details about their personal lives. As a result, getting confirmation of any rumours about these individuals can be challenging. Therefore, social media users took matters into their own hands and began investigating the alleged romantic relationship between Joshua and Mi Young.

A video from the 'Follow To Seoul' concert of the band held in July 2023 has been doing rounds on the internet. The netizens were quick to spot Joshua’s alleged girlfriend in the video as it was live-streamed, hence people could revisit the footage. In the video clip, Cho Mi Young, the model who is rumoured to be Joshua's girlfriend, can be seen. The model can be seen standing in a gallery at the concert venue. On August 9, 2023, a post went viral with the caption:
"Joshua's Girlfriend Also Appeared On SEVENTEEN's Online Concert".
The South Korean netizens took to Theqoo (a forum where Korean people discuss K-pop idols and other artists) to discuss this entire incident. Some were displeased by the way the duo, Joshua and Mi Young, are openly dating, whereas others talked about crossing the line and making it evident that the duo is dating.

The video went viral after the reports of the pair, Joshua and Cho Mi Young, surfaced online when people spotted them wearing similar clothes on more than one occasion. Their fans claimed that the outfits and some of their accessories were way too similar to just be a coincidence. Their identical phone cases, denim jackets, pullovers, and cardigans, point out that the duo might be involved with each other and are allegedly dating. However, there has been no confirmation on the same from Joshua's agency.
