In an interview with Vogue magazine, the starlet had talked about her life while growing up and had stated, “While growing up, I never felt different from my peers and classmates. I think there are very few people who have tried to be friends with me because of fame or prominence. When I was studying and working abroad, I was pretty much anonymous. It would be naive to say that I’ve never come across such sycophants, but I always try and see the good in another person and assume their best intentions. I haven’t come across a “yes” person, who agrees to everything I say.”

Speaking of Isha’s childhood, in the same interview with Vogue, Isha had shared, “I was the only girl with four boys at home. It was Akash, Anant, Anmol, Anshul and me. So by default, I had to be naughty to survive. If I tried to be anything else, I wouldn’t be included in all their games and fun. I grew up very much a tomboy. At home, there was no gender bias. I was never told that because you’re a girl, you can’t do this or that.” (Also Read: 'Meri Aashqui Tumse Hi' Fame Anmol Pranami Gets Married To His Long-Time Girlfriend, Pics Inside)

She had further added, “We are very normal. It may sound weird to some people, but I do believe that we are ordinary in the sense that we live like everyone else—my family, our relationships—we are very close, grounded, and our relationship is based on love. My parents have had the same friends since I was born. And it’s the same with Akash, Anant and I. Of course, we have some new friends, but our core group has pretty much remained the same. In that sense we’ve been very lucky to be surrounded by real people who tell you the tough things in life if they have to.”

Isha had also opened up about her dreamy wedding, and had revealed, “The wedding went off beautifully. Like any other bride, I had my share of bridal jitters but getting married at home made it very special and I had the time of my life celebrating my most memorable moments with all the people I love. During the wedding my mom was CEO and I was chairperson. She and dad did all the hard work.” (You May Also Like: Ravi Dubey Turns Make-Up Artist For Sargun Mehta, Pics Reflect Love Of Every Cute Husband-Wife Ever) She had further added, “Thankfully, we ended up liking the same things, so that made it a breeze. I didn’t go to a single wedding meeting. I was never someone who dreamt of how my wedding would be, yet it was wonderful in more ways than I can imagine. It was a very emotional affair for everyone in my family. I was emotional too but everyone around me would cry all the time. I only cried at my vidaai because I felt some peer pressure as everyone else was crying, especially my parents.”

Isha had also shared how life has changed post-marriage, and had revealed, “I don’t think his life has changed, and neither has mine. At this stage, work is a priority for both of us. And luckily, our parents understand that. Fortunately, the family I was born into and the family I married into have the same work ethic—every member of both families knows the importance of work.” (Don't Miss: Amit Tandon And Wife, Ruby Living Together Again As Family After She Gets Relieved From Dubai Jail)
