Mukesh Ambani's daughter, Isha Ambani Piramal was born on October 23, 1991, in Mumbai. The Indian billionaire completed her schooling from Dhirubhai Ambani International School, just like her siblings, Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani. However, the Indian billionaire sent his daughter to Yale University, which is a private Ivy League research university in the US, to pursue a degree in psychology. After which, Isha Ambani went to the prestigious Stanford Graduate School of Business in California, where she pursued an MBA.

Isha Ambani Piramal started her professional journey with McKinsey

After earning a psychology degree and an MBA from Stanford, Isha Ambani worked at McKinsey & Company in New York. For the unversed, McKinsey is one of the biggest management consulting companies in the world. Getting a job at McKinsey is challenging, even for the most brilliant minds. Hence, it clearly proves the mettle of Isha's intelligence.

Isha Ambani briefly worked at McKinsey & Company but gained extensive exposure to the international market. However, she returned to India in 2014, and she joined her father, Mukesh Ambani's Jio and Reliance Retail, as a Director. In addition, Isha was responsible for leading the Reliance Foundation. With so many different departments under her leadership, Isha played an important part in the successful launch of Reliance's 4G telecom service, Jio, in 2016.

As per multiple media reports, it was Isha Ambani's branding and marketing acumen that turned out to be the X factor in Jio's successful debut into India's telecom industry. Due to her incredible work with Reliance Jio, Isha was promoted to more senior roles in different branches of Reliance Industries Limited.

Back in July 2023, Isha was also appointed as the non-executive director of Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL). #1. Hamleys

Hamleys is a popular London-based company that is renowned worldwide for being the oldest and largest toy shop in the world. In 2019, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Retail acquired the 100 per cent stakes of Hamleys for around Rs. 620 crore. The company is now under the leadership of Isha Ambani, who is motivated to take it to another level.

The renowned fashion brand, AJIO is part of Reliance Retail and is headed by Isha Ambani. It was started back in 2017, as Mukesh Ambani wanted to make a mark in India's clothing sector with a brand of his own. #4. Cover Story Clothing

AJIO isn't the only clothing brand that is launched by Reliance. Mukesh Ambani launched Cover Story a few years back with the statement that it is India's first fashion brand. The design studio of Cover Story Clothing was opened in London with the aim of providing stylish clothing at an affordable price. Despite so much competition in the clothing industry, Cover Story Clothing, led by Isha Ambani, is still performing well and continues to open physical stores in different parts of the country.

#4. Netmeds

After the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Reliance Industries decided to get into the medicine delivery space. As a result, Reliance acquired the 60 per cent equity stake in Netmeds, which was founded back in 2010. It was a masterstroke by the Ambanis and Isha Ambani was given the responsibility to pull strings of this medicine venture.

According to the official website of Reliance Retail, 7-Eleven is the world's first convenience store. It was founded back in 1927 as a simple ice and beverage stand in Dallas. Fast forward to today, it is one of the most popular brands in the world. The iconic global chain of 7-Eleven entered the Indian market after joining hands with Reliance in 2021. The first-ever store of 7-Eleven was opened in Mumbai in 2021, and since then, it has become a popular brand in India too. Isha Ambani heads the brand as it comes under the umbrella of Reliance Retail.
