The Ambani clan celebrated Reliance Family Day, wherein they had welcomed the new employees of Reliance Group and their families at a glittering ceremony in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The past decade has bagged a lot of cherished memories for everyone and there’s a lot to be grateful for! While some had reached a zenith on their professional fronts, some had created memories of a lifetime in their personal life. Words can never do justice to thank God for everything we have received, be it professionally, personally or both. Just like us, the Ambani family too, never leaves a chance to be grateful to God for making them what they are today, be it taking blessings from God before any auspicious occasion or hosting grand puja at their residence. 2018 and 2019 proved to be the best years for the Ambani clan as they had officially welcomed two new members in their family. It was on December 12, 2018, when Isha Ambani had added ‘Piramal’ to her name as she had exchanged wedding vows with the love of her life, Anand Piramal. 3 months later, her twin, Akash Ambani and his childhood sweetheart, Shloka Mehta were pronounced husband and wife in a grand wedding ceremony on March 9, 2019. Since then, every glimpse of the Ambani clan together is a treat for us!
As we bid adieu to 2019 and welcomed 2020 with open arms, the Ambani clan celebrated Reliance Family Day, wherein they had greeted the new employees of Reliance Group and their families at a glittering ceremony in Jamnagar, Gujarat. As per Janta Ka Reporter, the day also marked as the tenth anniversary of the Reliance Foundation and was attended by Aamir Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Salim and Suleman Merchant. The hosts for the evening, Isha Ambani Piramal and Akash Ambani welcomed their respective partners, Anand Piramal and Shloka Mehta in the Reliance family. Isha proudly revealed that their Reliance family has grown to 6.5 lakh strong, to which Akash continued, “That’s right. And since the last Family Day celebrations, our families have grown too. Isn’t that Isha?” Isha replied, “Yes they have Akash. Shloka and Anant, a very warm welcome to your first Reliance Family Day.”
Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani Piramal and Shloka Mehta chose to coordinate their traditional ensembles with similar hues. Nita ji looked graceful as ever in a heavily-embroidered pink outfit. Isha looked gorgeous in a pastel-coloured outfit which had intricate floral embroidery on it. Shloka, on the other hand, opted for a less-embroidered attire. But the Ambani ladies, as always, stole the limelight with their simplicity and classiness. Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani and Anand Piramal chose to wear a black suit for the event. I also knew the bandwidth I was getting at home was absolute bullshit. I couldn’t even Skype with my friends in America while I was in India. So I knew there was a big market gap, and looked at Jio as an opportunity to solve the broadband issue: for mobile as well as for people’s homes. We were the 14th operator to enter this market, but that doesn’t mean the 15th player won’t disrupt us. That’s why I spend a lot of time studying new technologies. We disrupted the market, but can’t believe someone won’t try again.” When asked what has he learnt from his father, Mukesh Ambani, Akash Ambani had stated, “As a student at an American university, I knew first-hand the power of super-fast broadband: where high-speed internet was a fundamental service and daily life depended on it – our courses, entertainment, everything. They’re Reliance’s best-loved consumer brand, though not a huge business; yet she didn’t let me take it lightly or for granted, insisting that I be thoughtful about all aspects. Initially, I’d get tired and wonder why I should think through things like financial structure. I was a kid at the time, and thought that my job was to pick the players. But she made sure I was involved in all aspects, and showed me why focusing on details is crucial: that as a responsible leader you need to be on top of everything, not just the aspects that give you a sense of power. And this fundamental shift in mindset has allowed me to enjoy everything I work on.” (Also Read: Isha Ambani And Anand Piramal's First Anniversary, Love Story From Being Family Friends To Soulmates) We wish the Reliance family, a successful future ahead!ADVERTISEMENT
