Bollywood actor, Ishaan Khatter talked about his parents' separation and how he had seen tough times while growing up.
Bollywood actor, Ishaan Khatter's childhood was not normal, but he never frets over it. In fact, just like his elder brother, Shahid Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter has turned his adverse times into a blessing. Recently, he talked about his tough times and how he doesn't worry much about them. For those who don't know, Ishaan Khatter is the son of Neliima Azeem and Rajesh Khatter, and he is a half-brother of Shahid Kapoor.
Ishaan, who doesn't like to talk much about his personal life, opened up about his difficult days in interaction with Bollywood Bubble. The actor shared that he has no hard or bad feelings about his childhood. Ishaan also called his mother a survivor. He also added that he had learnt the art from his adverse times. She said:
"I don’t have any Gila shikwa any shikayat about my upbringing. I am very proud of the childhood that I lived, and I think I am the person that I am today because of what I saw and what I made of it. They say that sometimes characters are built out of adversity, and I’ve experienced that firsthand."

Ishaan also added that his mother has gone through a lot while he was growing up. He said that she is one of the strongest women and has great respect for her. Ishaan further added that he had seen hard times and faced struggles, but he doesn't romanticise it.
In the same interaction, Ishaan also revealed that his brother had taken care of them. He shared that Ishaan was raised by his mother, Neliima as a single parent after her separation from her ex-husband, Rajesh. He also added that things got easier because of his brother, Shahid, who did very well for himself by the time Ishaan turned nine or ten years old.
