Not a doubt in the world that you deserve the smashing success but it continues to baffle me how you were able to play one of the most complex, lost and damaged characters with such perfection while returning home to being the most centered, loving and responsible family man I know. Thank you for showing me what it means to be a responsible son, father, husband and brother always AND for knocking me out with your performance in and as #KabirSingh. As brutal as it may sound, but only love and affection cannot fulfil all your needs. How will you prepare a sound life if you and your other-half do not balance the wheels of a car and make it move forward? While we bestow kudos to all the working women out there but non-working moms too, have their own set of challenges to deal with. That’s exactly the story of the reigning star of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor. And beautifully do they fulfil it! It was only yesterday (June 25, 2019), when the star wife had taken to Instagram and posted a mushy Boomerang with her star hubby. She had captioned the video as, “I got sunshine, on a cloudy day.”
Shahid Kapoor is riding high on the pillion of his professional success. On May 15, 2019, Shahid Kapoor had unveiled his first-ever wax statue in Singapore. Ever since Shahid had posted a picture of himself with the wax statue, we all had been eyeing on a super-proud Mira Rajput Kapoor to post something about her superstar hubby, Shahid Kapoor’s big achievement. And so, she had shared a picture of herself, donned a black gown, holding the arm of her ‘wax hubby’, while her ‘flesh hubby’ held hers! Sharing the picture, Mira had written, “Taking mine home but left one for you Madam”. Her witty devar and Shahid’s half-brother, Ishaan Khatter commented on the picture, “I suspect yours is da real MVP.” Here is the image: Coming back to Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor had shared in an interview with the Mid-Day that he would never want to become Kabir. He had stated, “Kabir Singh is a phase in everyone’s life. We all {become} self-destructive when we feel like we’ve fallen apart. {One may feel} empathy for him because, in all his misgivings, he is vulnerable. It’s a cathartic journey of a man, and a cautionary tale. It made me feel that I never want to become this person.” (Also Read: David Dhawan Says Varun Dhawan And Natasha Dalal's Wedding Will Happen 'Dhoom-Dhaam Se') In an interview with The Indian Express, Shahid Kapoor was asked to comment about his performance on his first-ever remake. He had shared, “I don’t think I can comment on my performance. But I score it high when it comes to difficulty. This is my first remake, so there is already a film to compare my work with. It is a thin line between making it too different that it looks like a totally different film, and make it like the original one.” Guys, have you watched Kabir Singh yet?
