Jackie Shroff's Befitting Reply To Trolls Comparing His Son Tiger Shroff's Looks With Kareena Kapoor

Bollywood actor, Jackie Shroff slammed the trolls for comparing his son, Tiger Shroff's looks with the actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan. The veteran actor gave a befitting reply to all the trolls.

Even at the age of 64, Jackie Shroff is one of the hottest actors in the Indian film industry. From his bindaas bhidu persona to his exceptional acting skills, the actor gives chills and thrills to the audience through every character, he plays on the big screen. The man, who is known for his raw sex appeal often finds his son, Tiger Shroff, targeted by trolls for being more feminine instead of being macho like him.

Now, finally, in his recent interview, Jackie Shroff talked about the constant comparison of his son, Tiger Shroff's facial looks with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Also, Jackie addressed the concept of nepotism in Tiger's case and the difficulties he faced when he stepped into the Indian film industry back in 1983. The veteran actor answered it all in his heart-to-heart interview, and that too in his bhidu style!

In an interview with The Times Of India, Jackie Shroff was asked to address the trolls on social media targetting his son, Tiger Shroff's looks and while calling him less 'macho' and more 'feminine', and the comparisons of his looks with Kareena Kapoor Khan. The doting dad slammed the trolls and explained the whole idea of 'machoism' in his head in his trademark bhidu style. Jackie said, "About this whole macho macho comparison, he is young. He is still growing. He is a cub for God's sake and he is getting there. Also, I am glad that he does not look like what people expect him to. Matlab Jackie ka bachcha hai toh daadhi ke saath hi pait se bahar aayega kya?"

Going further in his interview, Jackie Shroff also heaped praises on his son, Tiger Shroff, for giving a calm and composed reaction to all these trolls and focusing more on his work. The veteran actor added, "Being compared to Kareena! Ha ha so cute. And you should see his replies to those comparisons and memes. He was cool with it. He knows his action well so he knew when he fought on screen or danced, he looked like a Tiger. It's tough for a guy to dance well when he is good at action. But he does both well."

In the same interview, Jackie Shroff also recalled the time when he had made his acting debut in Bollywood with the film, Hero, in 1983 and how critics had labelled him as a 'wooden actor'. He explained, "Jab main films mein aaya tha toh mujhe bhi bola tha.. wooden actor, staccato speech, lakdi hai, Dev Anand's lookalike, a wooden log. Critics ne mera band baja diya tha.”

Talking about his struggles and highlighting the impact of criticism on an actor, Jackie stated that he is extremely proud of his son, Tiger Shroff, as people now address him as 'Tiger ke baba'. In his words, "So people will say what they want to. At 26, Tiger became the youngest action star and set a standard for himself. Everyone now calls me Tiger ka baap and that is the proudest moment for me. Ma ki kasam."

At the end of his interview, Jackie Shroff addressed the debate around nepotism in the film industry and revealed his take on the same. The veteran actor explained that instead of a cakewalk, a big burden of his 220 films is on his son, Tiger Shroff's head, as he is still in his shadow. However, Jackie also added that he is impressed with his son's work. The proud daddy said, "Industry mein yeh nepotism nepotism chal raha hai. Iska baap hero hai toh yeh bhi ban gaya. Woh Zyada mushkil hai bachche ke liye. Mere 220 films Ka vazan hai uske sar pe. Tiger had to get out of his dad's shadow."
