The actress opted for an off-shoulder, structured gown in rose gold-hue, along with a small trail, from the shelves of Mikael D Couture. Her outfit boasted a body-hugging silhouette, and its metallic finish added all the charm. To accentuate her look further, Jacqueliene ditched heavy jewellery and opted for minimal diamond earrings. She also chose to wore a diamond bracelet and a ring. Open tresses, subtle-glowing makeup and her million dollar smile did all the talking on the red carpet of the French Riviera.

Well, agree or not, Jacqueliene Fernandez has occasionally raised the temperatures, when it comes to her sizzling looks and bold fashion choices. However, her style statement is knotted within the boundaries of fashion only, and nothing more. Speaking along the same lines, Jacqueline, in one of her previous interviews with Rediff, reacted that she shouldn’t be compared as a sex symbol, like Mallika Sherawat. In her words:
“For me, Mallika Sherawat is someone who is so real and is unafraid to be herself. She speaks her mind and in an industry which is quite fake, she is someone who is completely different. She needs to be applauded for where she is today. I don’t want to replace her. I am not trying to be a sex bomb or the next sexy actress on the block. I am trying to be versatile and it will reflect in the movies I’m doing or will do in future."
Previously, a report by a Reddit user claimed that the diva changed the spelling of her name slightly as per numerology and ended up adding an extra ‘e’ to the same. Thus, her changed name’s spelling became ’Jacqueliene’ in place of ‘Jacqueline’. Well, the actress’ decision created quite a stir, as netizens speculated if she chose to do so on the basis of the tough times she faced in her personal life, that concerned her alleged relationship with conman, Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

In one of her older interviews with Pinkvilla, Jacqueliene Fernandez opened up about the strange suggestions she got from various people in the industry, right at the beginning of her career. The actress revealed how people not only told her to enhance her facial features and get a nose job done, but some even suggested that she must change her name altogether. In her words:
“I was told, do a nose job, change your name. So many people! In that moment, I thought, is it really needed? Do I need to do all this stuff? I decided to just be me. I was told, change your name to Muskaan. I remember these suggestions. My agency also thought, should we change her name? Jacqueline Fernandez is very Western. How do we crack the industry? Then they were like, maybe we should just go with her name and just see where that goes. I was like, yeah, I am not going to re-change my name.”
