'Jailer' marked Rs. 600 crores at the global box office, and the producer of the movie brought two expensive cars for Rajinikanth. Amid all these, 'Thalaiva' became the highest-paid actor in India.
Shivaji Rao Gaikwad, popularly known as Rajinikanth is fondly called the ‘Thalaiva’ of the Tamil film industry. The legendary actor enjoys a massive fanbase worldwide. In a career of more than five decades, the legendary actor provided his fans with more than 160 movies in several languages, such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu Kannada, Bengali, and more. Along with Padma Bhushan, Rajinikanth also bagged some prestigious awards, including the Padma Vibhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award, and more for his contributions to Indian cinema. Fast forward to now, Rajinikanth is bagging immense success for his last released film, Jailer. As per several reports, the film earned more than Rs. 600 crore at the global box office.
There's no denying the fact that the immense success of Nelson Dilipkumar's crime drama, Jailer brought the hero of the film success and praises globally. And for his success in this film, the owner of the Sun Group, the production house for Jailer, Kalanidhi Maran gifted Rajinikanth a swanky car. Not only this, Kalanidhi also brought expensive cars in from the actor's house, and he was asked to choose his like from these two expensive rides. Among these two, one was the BMW x7 worth Rs. 1.24 crore, and the other one was the BMW i7 worth Rs. 1.95 crore. However, Rajnikanth opted for the BMW x7.

Manobala Vijayabalan, a leading film analyst took to his X handle (previously Twitter) and dropped the video of the same. In the video, Rajinikanth can be seen looking dapper in a white-hued kurta pyjama set. Moreover, in the video, we could also have glimpses of the expensive beasts, and it was just fiery. If the reports are to be believed, the producer also asked the actor to do another film with the Sun Group.

Yet in another Tweet, Manobala Vijayabalan revealed that amid the massive box office success of the movie, Jailer, Rajinikanth became the highest-paid actor in India and received a hefty amount of Rs. 210 crores. The tweet can be read as:
"Info coming in that, the envelope handed over by Kalanithi Maran to superstar #rajinikanth contains a single cheque amounting Rs. cr from City Union Bank, Mandaveli branch, Chennai. This is a #Jailer profit sharing cheque which is up & above the already paid remuneration[Rs. 110 cr] of superstar for the movie. Total - Rs. 210 cr Making superstar Rajinikanth the highest paid actor in India."
Despite frequent link-up rumours and affairs, superstar, Rajinikanth is happily married to the love of his life, Latha Rangachari. The duo got hitched on February 26, 1981, in a traditional South Indian wedding at the famous Lord Balaji temple in Tirupati. The adorable couple is blessed with two beautiful daughters, Aishwarya Rajinikanth and Soundarya Rajinikanth.
