Sridevi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor turned 21 on March 6, 2018. While the entire Kapoor family is shattered with the sudden and untimely demise of Sridevi, they made sure to be on the side of her daughters, Khushi and Janhvi. On her birthday, Janhvi followed the tradition started by her mother and visited an orphanage in the first half of the day. And then she celebrated it with her family.
Kapoor and daughters, as Sonam captioned a picture she shared from Janhvi’s birthday celebration, got together to make the day extra special for Janhvi. Sonam also took to her Instagram to wish her beloved sister and captioned her pic as, “To one of the strongest girls I know, who became a woman today. Dhadak star Janhvi’s birthday celebration was a small get together of the Kapoor family. Her sister, Khushi Kapoor, her cousins, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and step-sister Anshula Kapoor were seen sharing some laughter and light moments with the birthday girl. A Boomerang also got viral on social media of Janhvi cutting her birthday cake with father Boney Kapoor and sisters, Khushi and Anshula by her side. Janhvi’s close friend, Akshat Ranjan too posted a picture for his BFF, and captioned it, “happy birthday”. And to this, Janhvi replied, “ILY”. Manish Malhotra, who is the favourite designer of Janhvi, posted a birthday wish for her on his official Instagram page. He wrote, “Happy Birthday my dearest @janhvikapoor May God Bless you With Happiness Love Peace and Just Everything.” Janhvi’s visit to the orphanage on her birthday really touched everyone’s heart and she received immense respect and admiration. In a video shared on her fan pages, she could be seen all smiles when the children and women sang the birthday song for her. Later, she made a silent birthday wish before cutting the cake. As her birthday wish, Janhvi posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram which was also a tribute to her mother, Sridevi. She wrote, “On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love. They have made you. And I ask that you remember my mother fondly, pray for her soul to rest in peace. Let the love and adulation you’ll showered on her continue and please know that the biggest part of my mother was the love she shared with papa. And their love is immortal because there was nothing like it in the whole world. Nothing as joyful and pure and no two people as devoted to one another as they were. Please respect that because it hurts to think anyone would ever try to tarnish it. Preserving the sanctity of what they had would mean the world not only to my mother but also to a man who’s entire being revolved around her, and her two children who are all that remains of their love. Me and Khushi have lost our mother but papa has lost his “Jaan”..”
