Bollywood actress, Janhvi Kapoor had made her debut in the industry with the film, Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. While Janhvi’s first film had released on July 20, 2018, her mother, Sridevi had breathed her last on February 24, 2018. And since her mother’s demise, Janhvi has become the lady of her house as along with her professional commitments, she takes care of her father, Boney Kapoor and sister, Khushi Kapoor.

With the pandemic lockdown, everyone got a chance to slow down in life and spend some quality time with their families. Janhvi too made the most of this time and as the lockdown has been eased down, the actress chilled with her friends in her home and shared a glimpse of the view from her balcony. A few hours back, Janhvi shared a series of pictures on her IG handle from the balcony of her Mumbai house. In the pictures, she can be seen enjoying the sunset from her home with her friends and giving a breathtaking view of Mumbai’s skyline. From being lost in the sunset view to laughing with her friends, Janhvi’s balcony is totally a great spot to relax.
A few days back, according to a report in squarefeatindia.com, Janhvi Kapoor has purchased a luxurious property in the posh area of JVPD locality, Juhu in Mumbai. The deal was sealed with a whopping stamp duty of around Rs 78 lakh back in December 2020. It is said to be a combination of three super-spacious lavish flats that are spread across the 14th, 15th, and 16th floors of the apartment.

The report had further stated that Janhvi Kapoor will also have access to six huge car parking spaces in the beautiful apartment building, and the actress has paid Rs 39 crores for the magnificent house. On this advancement, Janhvi had faced severe trolling from the netizens, questioning her earnings. While some users had suggested that Janhvi has purchased this property by using her parents' money, some had taunted her filmography.
The lockdown had made Janhvi realise that the people of her house depend more on her since the demise of her mom, Sridevi. In an interview with the Filmfare, Janhvi had opened up on becoming the lady of the house post her mother’s demise. She had said, “I don’t think I have become the lady of the house because I'm very childish. But during this lockdown, I'm understanding how much people at home depend on me a lot more.”
Janhvi had further shared that she has started tracking her father’s eating habits and Khushi’s sleep pattern. She had also revealed that she ensures that everything in the house is sanitised properly and the COVID-19 protocols are being followed. She had also shared that the responsibilities have fallen upon her because her family members depend on her.
