Janhvi Kapoor has posted a video on her Instagram handle, in which we can see her dancing on the iconic song Piya Tose Naina Lage of the legendary actress, Waheeda Rehman's film, Guide. The video is going viral on the internet as fans are comparing her with her mother, Sridevi and calling her a replica of her mother.
On February 25, 2020, Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and posted a video of her dancing with her choreographer on the song, ‘Piya Tose Naina Lage’. In the video, we can see Janhvi’s impeccable classical dancing skills at the disposal. No wonder even this song’s original actress, Waheeda Rehman is going to be proud of Janhvi’s graceful dance in the video. The video clip is spreading all over the internet like wildfire and it reminds us of Janhvi's mother, Sridevi. Everyone knows that Sridevi was a talented classical dancer and that is the reason why we can see her in Janhvi as she does that lachak with her wrists and waist. Reminds you of her mother, Sridevi ji? Right? Well, the reason why Janhvi is taking Kathak lessons goes to the fact that she is going to be seen next in Karan Johar’s gigantic film, Takht. The actress had revealed in an interview with the Hindustan Times that she had started taking Urdu and Kathak lessons the moment she had signed Takht. She had revealed, “Full-fledged prep will start soon. But when I signed the film, I immediately started learning Kathak and Urdu. Although I knew we’ll shoot it almost a year later, I’ve been so fascinated by this era.” Also, when asked about her love for periodic cinema, the actress had further added, “I feel it’s something that might come more naturally to me than contemporary roles because I’ve subscribed to that cinema more. I prefer watching older films. Mughal-E-Azam (1960), Pakeezah (1972), Umrao Jaan (1981)… I’ve been obsessed with them and can relate to them.”

(They would say) ‘when you like a guy, come to us and we’ll get you married.’ And I’m like what!? You know we don’t have to get married to every guy we like. Like we can be chill also." And when Janhvi would ask Sridevi to be chill and Sridevi would be like, "Like chill, what does chill mean?"
