Janhvi Kapoor is the elder daughter of the late actress, Sridevi and film producer, Boney Kapoor. Janhvi and her sister, Khushi Kapoor, who is studying at the New York Film Academy, are very close to their father. The actress often shares adorable pictures with her dad on her social media handles.
On the professional front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the horror-comedy film, Roohi, starring Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. She had made her Bollywood debut with the film, Dhadak, in 2018 opposite Ishaan Khatter. She has also featured in films like Netflix's Ghost Stories and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

On October 19, 2021, Janhvi Kapoor and her father, Boney Kapoor, were spotted at the Mumbai airport as they returned from their holiday in the mountains in northern India. As they arrived at the airport, the duo posed for the shutterbugs, who asked them to take off their masks. While Boney complied with their request and made a move to remove his mask, Janhvi asked him not to do so.
The protective daughter, Janhvi, immediately made her dad put his mask back on. However, the photographers behind her tried to convince her and were heard saying, “Kuch nahi hoga.” To this, Janhvi schooled them not to give wrong advice and said, “Aap galat advice mat dijiye.” The father-daughter duo then posed for photos with their masks on.

While the video was doing rounds on the internet, Janhvi's response won zillions of hearts. Her fans appreciated her protective nature and showered heaps of love in the comment section. While one of her fans commented, "Loving Janhvi's care towards her father." Another comment read, "Responsible daughter," followed by a clapping hands emoticon. A third user dropped a comment saying, "She did the right thing." "Good girl," wrote another.
Besides that, before Janhvi entered her car, the paparazzi asked her to show them her tattoo. To this, she replied, "Bohot dekh liya, maine Instagram pe daal diya." For the unversed, earlier this month, Janhvi had got inked on her arm. On her late mother, Sridevi's third death anniversary, Janhvi had shared a note handwritten by her, which could be read as "I love you my Labbu. You are the best baby in the world."
On October 6, 2021, Janhvi had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a picture of her permanent tattoo dedicated to her mother, late Sridevi. In the picture, we could see Janhvi flaunting her tattoo. It was a handwritten note by her mother, Sridevi, which she had written for Janhvi — 'I love you my labbu'. She had got it inked on her hand.
Janhvi had a fun time on her holiday in the hills, and on October 19, 2021, the actress took to her IG handle and shared a bunch of pictures and videos from her vacation. Along with it, she wrote, “Somewhere over the rainbow.” The pictures showed her working out with a picturesque view of the mountains in the background, and going on a trek with her friends. Her sunkissed pictures were to die for!
