Mom is such a strong word and stronger is the bond between a mom and a daughter. She is the greatest teacher for any girl, her first and only lady-love. It would be any child’s nightmare to have lost his/her mother. And this nightmare has been experienced by the budding actress and Sridevi’s eldest daughter, Janhvi Kapoor. On February 24, 2018, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor lost their mom Sridevi ji and it was an utter shock for one and all. (Also Check: Janvhi Kapoor Reveals That Anshula Didi Had The Sweetest Message After Dhadak's Screening)

A source earlier was quoted as saying, “Janhvi has written a heartfelt note to Sridevi which has been attached in the very beginning of the film, along with their picture. She wanted to dedicate her first film to her mother and it was only obvious for the makers to include this special tribute in the film."

No one can feel the pain of losing one's mother. It is such a heart-breaking and emotional phase that is hard to express in words. After Sridevi ji’s demise, Janhvi had penned a note that read, “On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love. They have made you. And I ask that you remember my mother fondly, pray for her soul to rest in peace. Let the love and adulation you’ll showered on her continue and please know that the biggest part of my mother was the love she shared with papa.” (Don't Miss: 'Massis' And 'Buas' Of Bollywood And TV Who Share A Beautiful Bond With Their Niece And Nephew)

It further added, “And their love is immortal because there was nothing like it in the whole world. Nothing as joyful and pure and no two people as devoted to one another as they were. Please respect that because it hurts to think anyone would ever try to tarnish it. Preserving the sanctity of what they had would mean the world not only to my mother but also to a man who’s entire being revolved around her, and her two children who are all that remains of their love.” (Don't Miss: 7 Actors Who Played Brother Or Brother-In-Law On Screen To Their Real Life Partner)

Janhvi further wrote, “Me and Khushi have lost our mother but papa has lost his “Jaan”. She was so much more than just an actor or a mother or a wife. She was the ultimate and the best in all these roles. It mattered a great deal to her to give love and to get love. For people to be good and gracious and kind. She didn’t understand frustration or malice or jealousy. So let’s be that. Let’s be full of only good and give only love.”

The note further stated, “That would make her happy, to know that even in death, she gave you all something. The courage and inspiration to fill yourselves with nothing but love and rid yourselves of bitterness in any way and form. That’s what she stood for. Dignity, strength and innocence. Thank you for the love and support everyone has shown us in the past couple of days. It’s given us hope and strength and we can’t thank you all enough.” (You May Also Like: Shahid Kapoor's Biological Mom, Neelima Azeem On Her Happiness Being A Grandmother Again)

Even for papa (Boney Kapoor), it’s a source of comfort. It has definitely tied us together. We’ve lost mum, and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over”.

For the ones who have been living under the rocks, Sridevi ji passed away in Dubai on February 24, 2018. It was reported that she accidentally drowned in the bathtub and her body was found by the housekeeping department of the hotel. Some time back, it was also reported that Janhvi's first shot took place in Udaipur for which Sridevi ji was present. Mom, Sridevi saw about 25 minutes of the film’s footage and soon after that shared her feedback with Janhvi. (Must Read: Nora Fatehi's Recent Instagram Caption Holds A Hidden Message For Rumoured Ex-Boyfriend Angad Bedi?)
