We have seen an array of newcomers making their entry into Bollywood and some of them belong to the family of actors, who follow their parents’ footsteps. And one such newcomer is Sridevi’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, who had become everyone’s dhadak with her debut film, Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. Ever since Janhvi had made her Bollywood debut, she has always been compared to her late mother and legendary actress, Sridevi. From her enchanting smile to her effortless acting, Janhvi has won many hearts. (Also Read: Two Paparazzi Incidents Of Inaaya Naumi Kemmu And Taimur Ali Khan That Left Kunal Kemmu Worried)
Janhvi Kapoor shares a great rapport with her half-siblings, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. Since the death of her mother, Sridevi, it was Arjun and Anshula, who stood like a pillar of strength for Janhvi and her sister, Khushi. From clicking random pictures of their fam jam to celebrating festivals together, the Kapoor kids have given serious sibling goals to the millennials. Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi never shy away from showcasing their love and bond on social media and interviews. One such example of their bond was seen on Sonam Kapoor’s wedding on May 8, 2018, when Janhvi and Anshula had worn colour-coordinated lehengas and had twinned in blue.
On March 1, 2020, Anshula took to her Instagram stories and shared a video of Janhvi Kapoor entertaining her. Janhvi started an impromptu kathak dance number on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's song Salaam from Umrao Jaan. It was hilarious as Janhvi, who forgot the lyrics of the song while performing went on to replace it with ‘something something’. Janhvi won our hearts with her exceptional classical dance moves.
On February 25, 2020, Janhvi Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had posted a video of herself dancing with her choreographer on the song, Piya Tose Naina Lage. In the video, we could see Janhvi’s amazing classical dancing skills. Her graceful dance moves made us compare her elegance with her late mother, Sridevi. The video clip was all over the internet and all her fans had compared her with Sridevi. The actress had captioned the video as “When u lose balance so u have to improve an overdramatic end.”
On Janhvi’s birthday in 2019, she had gotten a special surprise from Anshula. The doting sister had put together a room full of pink balloons and had placed sticky notes with special messages written on it from her loved ones, in the shape of a heart. It truly seemed like a moment straight out of a rom-com, and every girl would wish to get such kinda surprise someday! She had stated, “It comes from seeking a sense of protection. A significant figure in our lives- my mother- wasn’t there anymore. Whom could we rely on? So, Khushi and I found ourselves leaning on them. A strong trust was forged between us. They’re so chilled out, such gracious and strong people, who encourage you and are real with you. We’re blessed.” On December 29, 2020, Janhvi had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an adorable birthday wish for Anshula. Sharing two beautiful monochrome pictures, Janhvi had written, “Happy Birthday to the person who makes me and everyone feels safe and loved always so proud of everything you’ve done this year and everything you’re going to do you deserve the world's happiness - I love you so much.” In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Janhvi had spoken about what Arjun and Anshula mean to them. She had shared, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi]. It’s a family dynamic that I relish. I am very thankful for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother and a better sister. They have given us a lot of strength. He is a very wise man and has given tips like, ‘just be honest, be yourself and be respectful towards people.’ Somehow, when he says it, I take it like the gospel truth.” (Also Read: Disha Patani Shares Her 'First Dance Block' With 'Baagh', Tiger Shroff On His 30th Birthday) Isn’t Anshula and Janhvi’s bond adorable?
