Until two-three months back, you loved Arjun Kapoor for his stupendous performance and power-packed roles. And post that, Arjun has emerged as a man of extreme strong and noble character. A man, who forgot all past woes and stood by his family like a rock. Now, who doesn’t want a support system like that?
And not only us, Arjun’s father Boney Kapoor and half-sibling Janhvi Kapoor has time and again shared how supportive Arjun was when the tides were rough in their lives. From posing for pictures together, to Arjun taking a stand for those who troll his baby sister Janhvi, to Anshula going out for movie dates and having fun at family dinners, these awesome-foursome half-sibling lot has given goals to millions.
Janhvi is currently on a promotional spree for her debut movie, Dhadak. At a recent interview, Janhvi spoke about what Arjun and Anshula mean to them. She shared, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi]. It’s a family dynamic that I relish. I am very thankful for them. I couldn’t have asked for a better brother and a better sister. They have given us a lot of strength. He is a very wise man and has given tips like, ‘just be honest, be yourself and be respectful towards people.’ Somehow, when he says it, I take it like the gospel truth.”
How sweet is that! But that’s not all! The doting sister ensures that she is all praises for Arjun and Anshula wherever she goes and is interviewed. In her recent interview with Vogue, Janhvi shared about how their family united after Sridevi’s death. She revealed, “It’s made us feel safe and secure. I think, even for Papa, it’s a source of comfort. It’s definitely tied us together. We’ve lost mom and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over.” She further went to say that her mother was a constant inspiration for her, “That’s always been my motivation. In a recent interview, Arjun shared that being there for his half-sisters was what their family needed. He had also shared that Janhvi and Khushi are extremely sensitive kids and he is looking forward to watch Dhadak. As in a reply to a mommy blogger (the blogger had appreciated Arjun for his support towards his family and credited his mother, Mona Kapoor, for such noble upbringing), Arjun had tweeted back saying, “Hey @aakanksha3131, me & @anshulakapoor represent our mother every single second we live. She would expect us to have been standing next to our father no matter what n be there for Janhvi & Khushi. Thank you for your kind words about our mother, as she would say God bless you."
