Recently, Janhvi Kapoor hit back at an anonymous person on Instagram who mocked her for sustaining shoulder injuries while she was prepping for her role in 'Mr. And Mrs. Mahi.'
Janhvi Kapoor is one of the popular names in Bollywood in recent times. For the past few days, she has had her hands full with the promotional events for her now-released film, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Janhvi plays the role of ‘Mahima Mahi Aggarwal’ in the film, who goes from being a doctor to a cricketer with her husband’s help. The 27-year-old actress has revealed the behind-the-scene challenges she faced to get into her character for Sharan Sharma’s directorial.
Janhvi took to her Instagram account to share a video showcasing her journey while filming Mr. & Mrs. Mahi. In the clip, the actress is seen braving injuries while she underwent training for over 150 days. In one of the clips, Janhvi also mentions two injuries she suffered while training. She was seen with bandages on her shoulder while practising her batting with tennis balls on the nets. Janhvi posted the video with the release date of her film, which is May 31, 2024.

As Janhvi posted the video, a netizen asked how she suffered injuries while playing with a tennis ball. The person said, “Tennis ball me v injury hone laga.” This time the actress did not keep mum and gave a befitting reply to the troll. She said, “Injury season ball se hui thi, injuries ke baad tennis ball se khelna pada. Bandages dekhenge to samajh jayenge ke yeh saare videos injuries ke baad hain.” Janhvi further added, “Mazak udane se pehle agar video theek se dekh le te toh shayad main bhi aapke joke pe hasti.” The person later apologised to Janhvi, saying, “Sorry ma’am.”
Amidst all the trolling, Janhvi Kapoor’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya showed his support for his ladylove. He penned, “The best of the best,” followed by many heart-eyed emojis and red hearts. Several other people also praised Janhvi for her efforts in her latest role.

Previously, Janhvi Kapoor confirmed her relationship with her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, when she appeared on Karan Johar’s popular talk show, Koffee With Karan, along with her sister, Khushi Kapoor. She accidentally slipped in Shikhar’s cute nickname ‘Shiku’ during their conversation. More recently, Janhvi proudly sported a ‘Shiku’ diamond-studded necklace at the premiere event of Maidaan on April 9, 2024. Moreover, during one of her earlier interviews, Janhvi said that she has known Shikhar since her teenage years, and they have been each other’s support system.
